I was thinking it may sound too pretentious of you're not of the right ethnicity. No good reason for asking, just popped into my head.

I searched online that there are a few people who are called Markalea but when I searched Markale, there was a French writer/poet called Jean Markale. Is Markale a surname or can I use it as the first name? Can it befor a female? Is Markalea/Markale a French name?

It all started when this doctor asked me my blood type. Well, I wasnt exactly sure so I told her what I thought it was, and then i said, but Im not sure. She was like you are wrong, and I don't feel like asking you anymore questions about you past pregnancy. You have a bad memory. Then It all went down hill from there. Sh has been rude, and extremely mean ever since that incident. I mean we got into an argument about shoes. Then today, I saw my bill for the "regular (so she said)" blood work she had ordered. I know the typical testing... AIDS, Herps... serious things lik that, but unknowingly I was tested for COCAINE! Without my consent she had a spcific test don just for cocaine, and that was the only drug on there. I have one son already so I know what blood tests are needed to be done. She had me tested for drugs all because I couldn't remmber my blood type! Can she do this????? I want to file a complaint. How do I go about doing this.

My 8 year old step son just came to stay with us for 3 weeks. He has really bad eczema. He mom will not give us his prescrition cream (or his medical card so he can't go to a doctor). Is there anything over the counter? Or maybe a herbal remedey. It is driving him crazy and I really feel bad for him. If you know anything that will help please let me know. Thanks.

My Fi is a few years old then me. By the time we get married and have kids, he will be close to 35. This worries me. I have nothing against those who are older parents. But, for myself, I don't like the idea. I mean, when my kids are 15, my hubby will be 50.

Should I be worried? I just think there is a certain charm and positive attitude about young dads. They are more willing to run around outside with the kids, then older parents. More likely volunteer and be involved.

When you think about it. Older parents have the potential for health problems. I think of my own dad, he had cancer at 53. Of course, I was in my 20's. But, I could not imagine having children in high school, with sick parents. I know, a parent can get sick at anytime. But, older parents may have a higher risk.

Are my worries valid or am I being crazy? Should I be this concerned with age. I would love for my Fi and I to have kids now. He's 30.

I know infants sleep pretty much all the time. But something doesn't seem right. She usually doesn't sleep like this. She usually is awake for an hour or two then sleeps for an hour or two. And so on. Well that's pretty much how she is. Today at around 1 I gave her a bottle and took the whole 8 ounces. She fell asleep at around 2:30. At around 5 she started to wake up, well she started crying out and sucking on her fingers. I figured she was going to wake up and want to eat. So I made her a bottle. It took her awhile to drink it and she only took about 3 ounces before she started falling alseep when sucking. So I took it out and laid her back down. She's whined and woke up for a few minutes a couple times since then but thats it. I tried to wake her up a little while ago to eat and again she just took a few ounces. I took her temperature and its normal. My mom said she may just be really tired. Should I take her to the doctor or am I just worrying for nothing?

Any sites you ended up liking better -- and possibly switching to -- and why? Not so much Big Brother policing and hand-slapping. Post siggies at no charge? Better message board format? You get the idea. ;)

Just curious ... because I know there are many of us out there and I'm wondering where we've all ended up. LOL

I'm just looking for peoples opinions (but please dont post nasty comments)

I am 19 years old and I am really wanting a child.. do you think I’m to young?

Now read all of the details to my situation and does your mind change at all: I’m 19, turning 20 shortly and I have been with my partner for 3 years. We have bought a house, we have a car each, good well paying jobs and could easily live off one source of income. My partner (23years old) is soon moving into a new position which will be working 5 weeks away 5 weeks home (only working the weeks away).. We have very supportive families and cant wait for grandchildren.. my father is currently quite ill and has been given approx 2 years left.. and I really want him to be a grandfather before he passes (as does he).. what are your opinions??

i'm 14,so i just joined the Youth choir at our church ,and the girls are asked to wear white & black only outfits, like white blouse /shirts,and black skirts/dresses,and black shoes. this is what is required...
mom bought me actually a white blouse, long sleeves, with round lace collar, and then a black, pleated skirt, knee lenght, even white tights (OMG) and lace- up black leather dress shoes ! and says i should even wear a white hair bow because in my ponytail it would look "very good" !

ok, we have finally decided on the name Honey for a girl. (please dont leave me any bad feedback on my choice of name). the thing is finding a middle name for it. my fiance thought of Rae, which is cute but i think since Honey is such a short simple name (and so is the last name, which is only 4 letters), that the middle name should be longer and have a few syllables so it really stands out. does that make sense? any ideas people? im open to all options.

This month it lasted only one day and was very light. I had bad cramps, headaches, and was very tired. Could I be pregnate?

I do BBT charting using fertility friend. I use digital basal fertility thermometer. I am at cycle day 3 and my temp was 96.01 this morning which seems very low. Down from 97.02 days one and two. It was pretty cold in my bedroom last night and it was taken an hour earlier then normal. I looked at other charts in the online gallery and no ones was this low. If this is the only really low temp this week should I exclude it from the chart?
