I do BBT charting using fertility friend. I use digital basal fertility thermometer. I am at cycle day 3 and my temp was 96.01 this morning which seems very low. Down from 97.02 days one and two. It was pretty cold in my bedroom last night and it was taken an hour earlier then normal. I looked at other charts in the online gallery and no ones was this low. If this is the only really low temp this week should I exclude it from the chart?

Could be 1 of 2 things--1, you slept with your mouth open last night, I've done this a couple times and just use the "rule of thumb" and discard the temp.
The other thing it could be that your estrogen level went up. Progesterone makes your temp raise, but estrogen makes your temp drop. I wouldn't worry too much about 1 low temp. Good luck and baby dust!

G: It can't be implantation at CD3! She's still probably having her period!

Anyway - a colder room and sleeping with mouth open does result in lower temps. I would exclude it from your chart for sure. At least it's not at a critical time in your cycle so don't worry.

I don't even bother taking my temp around my period and at the beginning of my cycle as I ovulate CD16 so I start temping at about CD10.

Personally my temps don't change if I wake up a couple of hours earlier than usual - only if I wake in middle of night. You will have to see how your body reacts though.

I have found that taking vaginal temps is much better - more consistent and even rather than big fluctuations so I get a much better picture now.

if you took it an hour earlier then it should be excluded. You have to take your waking temperature at exactly the same time every morning or it won't work. My BBT used to be very low too (before I had a baby and got fat) and sometime it would drop to 96.9....so if you have a low BBT that's okay. Just make sure you are consistent about taking your temp.

Are you a FF VIP user? If so, and you prefer to not completely discard the temp, you can use FF's temp adjuster to accommodate for the 1 hour difference.

If you are not a VIP user: I wouldn't worry too much about discarding the temp, if it is your only charting discrepancy (i.e. no other open circles on your chart). 1 stray temp shouldn't keep you from seeing the overall shape of your chart.
