I searched online that there are a few people who are called Markalea but when I searched Markale, there was a French writer/poet called Jean Markale. Is Markale a surname or can I use it as the first name? Can it befor a female? Is Markalea/Markale a French name?

i dont like Markale.
for a boy i do like Kale, but not Mark.
for a girl .... ew....kinda sounds like Mikayla but i don't like that either.

but as far as the surname thing, a lot of people are using surnames as first names now. you can name your kid whatever you want. just remember that he or she will have to live with that name for a lifetime. choose wisely.

I think it would be better as a middle name how about...

Tate Markalea
Reilly Markalea
Laine Markale
Tessa Markalea
Edeline Markalea
