original...but hard to know the exact pronunciation. I think you should use it as his middle name, and give him a more common first name, since a persons name is used for everything. my sister named her son mikah (an alternative spelling to micah) he is always being called meek-ah by people who don't know him.

Clobin? Never heard of that one before.
Is that like "glob" (xcept with a "C") and then "in"?

You want the honest truth right?
Sorry I dont like it, sounds like some kind of weird disease.

It's a no go with me, sorry. He would be ridiculed at school. He would be called Clodhopper, Clyde, Clown, Clobber, etc. Try something that isn't so original.

I would see if you can spell it different maybe that would help. I'm not sure how to pronounce it, so to me I think of hitting someone on the head - like clobber, clobin.

I don't want to hurt your feelings, but Clobin sounds like a new prescription drug to me.

I don't know. It makes me think about: goblin, clogging, globule, cloven . . . to be honest, I think it could cause a boy some trouble in childhood.
