I am looking for a moses basket that in inexpensive and is practical. I have tried to look but all I have found are baskets that you can not carry the baby in. I need something that i can carry my baby in an dthat is not going to break my pocket. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Try looking up craigs list.com. It is kind of like ebay but it is local so you dont have to pay for shipping, and since you are buying it used it will more afforable. Plus you get to try it out and see it. If you dont like it you dont have to buy it. I have bought and sold many items from craigslist and it has worked out great for me. All directions will say not to carry the baby for legal purposes. If the handle breaks and they said that you could carry the baby you could sue them. Try to find one where the handle goes underneath and to the other side for extra security.

Do you really need the Moses basket? What about it's carseat? Will that work?
Try looking on Ebay for good deals, or craigslist!

I remember going to a Home Goods store a few years ago and they had them for around $50 with the bedding inside too!

all the baskets I have seen say to not carry the baby in them, since they have no restraints. Sorry

well where do you live?
buy buy baby has moses baskets..
there are buy buy babies in nyc, long island, new jersey and virginia
it really isnt safe to carry them in it though..
try a baby bjorn...
