It all depends on how long you will be gone, your area and how far she has to travel to you. Normally I would say 2 dollars and hour per kid so your case 6 dollers and hour, but if you are gone for only an hour or two then I would give $5-$10 total per kid. I have 3 ranging in age from 9 years to 20 months and I give $5-$6 an hour. or you could have a set rate if you know how long your gonna be gone. $20.00 for say 4 hours or $50.00 for 8 hours. be sure to talk with the babysitter before you go and make up your mind and see if its fine with her. being 16 she might have her own car and it takes gas to drive to your house and from your house. also if she has to take the kids some where. good luck.

I would say maybe $10 an hour. Sounds like a lot but when it comes down to it I don't imagine you'd need a baby sitter for more than 4 or 5 hours at most. If it's an overnight thing or something I'd do a set price of $50 or $60. But don't give an hourly wage then change it on her if you use her in the future and plan on being gone for more than a few hours.

I have been babysitting for 6 years now. The pay is dependant on a few things.

1. How much you and your spouse makes.
2. How far the sitter has to drive to get to your home (unless you provide the transportation).
3. How long the sitter is asked to stay

Currently, I babysit for 3 different families. I am 20 years old. Check first to see if he/she already has a set rate...I make $10/hour for two of the families and about $8.50 for another. Personally, I would babysit for less, but they make good money, so they spread the wealth :) I hope that I helped you some!

When I was 16 I got paid $15/hr for 3 kids, but the reason why so much is because one of the boys were very bad and out of control. I think $8 is good. Is the babysitter going to cook and feed the kids? I would feed the kids and clean up so thats another reason I got paid so much.

It really depends on your children's ages and what the sitter is required to do. I have a 14 year old sitter and two kids ages 7 and 3 (the 3 year old is a bit of a handful). I pay $7. Not knowing your details, I would find out from other moms what the going rate is. I would say from $7-10.

When I was 15, I got paid $100 a week for 3 children. A 12 year old, a 7 year old and a 9 month old.

I was satisfied with that though. At least I was making some money.

I also think $10 per hour is fair. What are the children's ages? If they are very young, maybe $12. Older children, like between 6 to say 12, then $10 still sounds fair.

It all depends on how old the children are and the perfomance of the sitter. The younger the kids are the more money the child should. But I also don't think you should go more than a $120 per week.
