it will have instruction inside that will give you the best day to start on depending on your cycle length.

DETERMINE WHEN TO START TESTING
To determine when to start testing, you must first determine the length of your menstrual cycle. The length of the menstrual cycle is the number of days from the first day of menstrual bleeding to the day before bleeding begins on the next period.

Determine the usual length of the menstrual cycle over the last few months. Then, refer to the Cycle Chart to determine on which day of the menstrual cycle to begin testing. If your cycle is less than twenty-one days or greater than forty days, consult a physician.

Your Cycle Length

21 days Day 5
22 days Day 6
23 days Day 7
24 days Day 8
25 days Day 9
26 days Day 10
27 days Day 11
28 days Day 12
29 days Day 13

I hope this helps!

My doctor would have me start as soon as my period was done and then take it everyday for 2 weeks. You usually ov on the 14 day from the 1st day of your period. It works if you have reg cycles. if they are longer than 30-35 days you probably ov on the 17-20 day after your period. Try it, will show if you are ovulating

most woman ovulate on day 13. you count the first day of your period as day one so it should be about a week after your period ends. But you should start using it a couple days after your period. If you set up a babyzone.com account you can track your ovulation there as well as get all the facts. Its easy and free plus you get free formula and stuff after the baby is born. -halo
