Okay, I was on my way to math class, and I was coming back from gym. I went to my locker, and it was jammed. I kept trying to get it open, but it wouldn't open! So I went to math without any of my stuff to see if my math teacher would open it for me. (The teachers have keys to the lockers.) She said, "Your late." I said, "But my locker is jammed!" "I don't care. You should have dropped your stuff off here before you went to gym." First of all, if I did that, I would be late for gym because it is on the other side of the school! So I had to borrow a pencil and some paper from my friend. I mean, I didn't shove everything into my locker to make it jammed...it was just jammed. Was that fair of my math teacher to make me tardy even though it wasn't my fault, and then not letting me get my stuff out of my locker with the key?

My daughter is 5 months old, and uses the Gripe Water for gas. It works great and has made all the difference with her. I am wanting to prepare for teething. Lots of her friends already have teeth, so I know it is coming. I know there is baby Orajel, Motrin, Advil, etc. Does anyone know about the Hyland's Teething Gel? It is all natural, and says "no side effects."
The ingredients are:
Calcium phosplate, chamomilla, coffea cruda (coffee) and belladonna.
I am just wondering if this is even effective? Safe? Any thoughts?

How long should we wait to tell people that we are expecting? My sister-in-law just had a baby two weeks ago, so we don't want to take any of the excitement away from them (they tried for 3+ years)

So when should we tell?
friends?
co-workers? (mine)
co-workers? (his)
boss?
my family?
his family?

Do you think it is appropriate for a teacher to discipline a child for the following reasons. It was a foggy day, the teacher was talking to the children in the class about the morning fog. The teacher asks the students, this morning who saw the fog on the way to school? She said when I was driving to school this morning I saw the fog, my child raised his hand and told her that you should have been looking at the road while she was driving instead of looking at the fog, he got in trouble. Then he got in trouble for telling a couple of kids santa clause was fake and that there parents were buying them presents. Then he got in trouble for wiggling his loose tooth with tissue. He was excited about a question she asked he blurrted the correct answer out and got in trouble. Basically really petty things like that. I wrote a prior question about this very same teacher calling my child immature for asking too many questions and not being confident enough.

Okay, I need some help here! I took 3 home pregnancy tests last weekend, all were positive. My period is late, my breasts are tender, and I've been really tired. I was so excited I called right away to see the doctor. I took the urine test at the office and it was negative!!! I was so upset and confused....I then went to the store and bought 2 different brands of tests and tried those out and they are positive too. They then did a blood test and the result is 700...so definitely positive! I'm really excited, but can't help but be really nervous too because of that urine test. Do you think it was a fluke, or do you think I should worry?

i have beening working with my very bullheaded little girl for a very very long long time... i have done everything but just let her do it when she is ready... if i try that approch and if it was up to her she would stay in them probably for the rest of her life! (save me from buying a chasity belt) sorry showing my sence of humor with this... i would list everything i have tried.. but i have 600 characters left and that would be to much to read...i will take any suggestions that come to me. i have gone as far as awearing a life jacket so she won't fall in approch still won't work... she says she is a fraid of the potty... i have bought the inserts that make is just right for her to go ( SHE IS NOT GOING TO FALL IN). OH and she has the best kidney's of any man kind... i think she should go into the gueness book of world records. she holds it until the pull up is on... yesterday i held out for 11 hrs.she did not go #1 or #2. ALL DAY AND SHE HAD MCDONALDS!!! amazing child! i love her!

I have a 3 year old daughter and she is still in pampers.
I have tried to potty train her but she acts "stubborn" and says no.
we were living somewhere else for about 3 months and she was going to daycare where they were teaching her how and she almost learned but we moved and it seems like she just "lost" everything she learned.
my parents told me to just try "monkey see monkey do" that is to take her with me in the bathroom when i go. which isn't helping so far.
I think she is getting too old for pampers.
i need suggestions on what to do
thanks in advance

This question has no significance it is just for fun. I would like to know exactly how many mom's knew before they took a test that they were pregnant, and how did you know. While some of you may have had no idea until you took a pregnancy test. Feel free to share your stories.

I'm 18 weeks and I just found out the sex today!!!! I'm having a little boy! Yeah, I'm so excited. BUT, I'm scared there's a possiblity they could be wrong. ALTHOUGH, my little man was grabbing his wee-wee while they were trying to tell, ha ha ha! It was so hilarious because he didn't start grabbing it until they checked the sex. How many people on here, though they knew the sex and it was wrong?

Hi ladies... Odd question, but I'll ask it anyway: Did anyone have the ability to "sense" or "just have a feeling" about when your labor would start? Or did you have a really bizarre sign that labor was about to start? I'd love to hear your stories!

My daughter is very clingy at bedtime, when she was 3 had some medical problems and always slept in my bed for precautionary reasons, now she is older and perfectly healthy but just doesnt want to sleep in her bed. I try to lay down with her till shes asleep, but she wakes up and comes to my bed, cries and screams if i leave her alone whether in her bed or my bed. She has nightlight, fav toy, door open, but wont go to sleep on her own.

My due date is tomorrow & it's my first. I know a lot of women having their first child goes past thier due date. But I have a friend who was due Feb. 4 with her first and had it on Feb. 1st. So since most first timers go over does that mean she was further along... and what is the percentage of first timers that go over their due date... thanks for the answers

I am due August 22, and I am exactly 12 weeks and 2 days. According to that, than my months are done on the 15th of everymonth right? Does that mean I will turn 3 months on the 15th or the 22 because that is my due date? This is very confusing!
