Pregnancy & Parenting - 9 February 2007

I'm 9 weeks pregnant and feel like utter crap. I'd just gotten over my bronchitis when I found out I was pregnant, and since then a cold has been circling the household. It got around to me and I'm one of those lucky ones that when I get sick my body goes all out. No fever as of yet but I can't sleep I've tried the over the counters the doctor's office recommended, and it's really hard to eat a lot of healthy foods and liquids when you're poor :( . The steam thing doesn't work, blowing my nose doesn't clear anything just makes me more congested. And now I'm sneezing and starting to cough, feel like I'm without hope. My first doctor's appointment isn't for another week! (even though the last time ended in a miscarriage you'd think they'd have me in sooner) I can't sleep because I can't breathe, I feel so hopeless. My husband is doing all he can and I'm still so horribly sick... What do I do?!?

I had my tubes tied in August of this year. Is it possible to have conceived? I know that as time goes by, the chances of doing so increases, but I though that this form of conception was 99.9% effective the first 5 years. I have three children already, so I know what "my" morning sickness feels like. I'm wondering if I should buy a pregnancy test just to see.

My one month old has pretty severe gastroesophageal reflux. The dr has her on the infant form of Zantac, one ml 2x per day. She is miserable at different times of day, and we believe it is because of the acid....she makes gagging faces and looks uncomfortable around feedings, stopping frequently but still being hungry.
She also wants to eat every 1 to 1 1/2 hours. The dr would like it stretched to at least two (she is on Nestle Good Start, the only thing, breastmilk included, that she could keep down sufficiently). Despite this, she is gaining a good ammt of weight and thriving. She went from 6 lbs 12 oz at birth to 9 lbs 7 oz at one month.
Because she is constantly hungry yet never satisfied (she takes in a good amt at each feeding), the dr also recommended a small ammt of rice cereal added to her formula. I am concerned, I have read mixed things about this, but I'd like her to be more satisfied after a feeding. Will be getting another opinion. Anyone done this before?

My boyfriend thinks i may be pregnant i keep on having mood swings and stressing alot, i finished what i think was my period a week ago it only lasted 2 days and was brown not red blood. I AM 19 WEEKS TODAY, AND FOR ABOUT THE LAST TWO WEEKS, I HAVE BEEN WORRYING WHAT IF MY BABY DOES NOT HAVE ALL ITS FINGERS AND TOES, WHAT IF ITS LEGS AND ARMS ARE NOT FULLY DEVELOPED, AND OTHER THINGS. I am interested in one of these mechanical babies that eats sleeps cries wees etc that teenage school goers look after and have to take to school and they go to a creche at school. It is to show the young girls what parenting is all about and make them think twice about falling pregnant whilst they are in their teens. Well, Im pregnant again, miraceoulosly. Well not really miraceoulosly but very suprisingly. My son Benjamin will be 3 months on the 11th and Im now 8 weeks pregnant.This was not planned at all, I was using 2 types of BC and didnt plan on conceiving again until my son was at least age 4 but it looks like things dont always go as planned. But besides the fact that It's WAY TO SOON, I'm happy. Maybe I'll get a girl and have my set. I was just wondering how many of you believe in the gender predictors because with my son it said boy and this time it says girl I was wondering if it worked for anybody else?
