I'm 19weeks with second although 1st is now 2.8years i've been telling him mammy has a little brother or sister growing in her tummy and that soon the baby will grow making mammy's tummy grow with it, soon he'll beable to feel it, I show him books and look on the internet at pictures, ask him what he'd like baby to be called. He came along to the 1st scan and is coming next week to our 2nd He now talks about baby helps me rub cream gently on my stomach, and sings it songs, it'll probably be a different story when it's here but i'm trying.
Going to redecorate his room for him and buy him anew bed only time will tell.

involve her with name picking, decorating the nursery, let her feel like she has some responsiblity for the baby. Help her pick toys, When the baby is born buy her a present and card from the baby.

Just keep her involved and make her feel special and resposible.

HTH, i dont have children but know about pyschology
