Only if I could prevent it from happening. If I could not prevent it, then no, I would not want to know. I live for my kids and nothing will ever change that. I believe in the after life, so I believe I will see my kids after they, or I die. If you were to know when, how they would die, then you would focus on that and not on living the best life you can with your child.

That is a horibble question. I am not saying you are wrong for asking it-it is just when you read it, it makes you feel bad. Anyway-I am not really sure if I would want to know. Part of me feels yes, and part of me feels no. I think even if we know, you really cant "prepare" yourself for something like that. I think if we knew, we would just be waiting for that day to come. And you cant make time stand still-so I think someone would go crazy living that way. As for me, I already take it one day at a time-I already try to give my kids the best life I can, and I love them as much as I can everyday. I try to enjoy all the good times-of course this is a normal everyday life where there are good days and bad days-you know bad kids/yelling/fighting/talking back. But when it gets to be too much, I usually sit down with them and tell them how important it is for us to be kind and love each other. And that we can not spend time on being bad or nasty if we want to enjoy what we have and got to bed happy and have sweet dreams. I dont know if I really answered your question, but this is how it made me feel.

It it not natural for a parent to bury a child, I can't even imagine anything so heart breaking. I would not want to know, because it would change our natural relationship, I would be worried and guarded at all time and the child would sense that.
I would want to enjoy every minute we have together, children are after all only given to us for a short time and then we have to surrender them to wives, husbands even death

Yes i would like to know ..

I lost a little boy four years ago this april due to SIDS and i wish i knew it was going to happen i know there is nothing you can do to stop things like this happening but so you'd know how much time you have left with your child so you can do everything you can and prepare your self for something you wouldnt wish on your enemy.

I have since given birth to 2 beautiful girls and i wonder when they do things if thats the last time im going to see them do this or hear them say i love you.

I prey to god my daughters out live me as i couldnt handle seeing anything like death happen to them, going through it once is the worst thing.

But yes i would like to know these things

I would never want to know that.....
I take every day as an enjoyment and living the life that we have, but still..... I couldn't live knowing that my baby was going to die, and I knew when.....

Your question gives me chills in my spine......

I would want to know. To prepare myself mentally as much as possible for it. To prepare financially to give them the best funeral I could. I would also like to give them the best life I can until they die. Spend as much time as possible with them, quit work etc.
