I've heard that it's very possible to get pregnant even being off the pill for the first time. If you are one of these people, can you tell me if you felt any symptoms? I'm in this situation and have been experiencing (for almost 2 weeks) extreme nipple sensitivity and on and off nausea (it hits me at random times). I've also had very light cramping for about a day and a half and after sex with my husband, I had noticed I had had some very light brown spotting (which I haven't seen since). My period is due in about 3 days.

I had my 20 week ultrasound yesterday. Everything looks great, and we found out that we're having a baby boy, but he was being stubborn and wouldn't let the doc get a good profile pic. So all we have are pics of a foot, the arms, and the one of the boy parts.. (yeah, he already knows how to moon, lol) I was really looking foward to having one of those great profile pics to show off and send to my family. Do they give you another u/s in a normal pregnancy? And can I request one even though there isn't anything wrong?

i have a crush on a boy i really like and my friend sent him an email on myspace asking him if he'll ever ask me out and he wrote maybe. my 13th birthday is tomorrow and i think he might ask me out but im scared cause my mom says i cant go on dates but i dont want him to think i dont like him, plz dont say im too young because i dont want to here that. plz help. thx.

I am the one who takes care of him all day while his father is at work,I play with him and give him hugs and kisses. I make him laugh and smile. But he only says dada, and when we tell him to say mama he says dada instead or laughs. When he sees his dad he smiles and is so happy and just wants to follow him around and wants his attention. Is this normal? I think he thinks his dad is more fun, he wrestles wiith him and I don't, could this be it?

whats wrong with us we do nothing to help these children we get so caught up in our everyday life's....about saving for the BMW the latest fashion buying a house etc etc....what about those unwanted children....what about children who are aborted and women who keep having continuous abortions carelessly as if though it was contraception.....what about those young babies mothers leave in hospital with no one to love them.....WHAT ARE WE DOING....why dont we pay more to foster carers why is this profession not taken serious...

In general, for women who have rough periods (heavy bleeding, bad cramps, etc) is pregnancy a welcome relief? Or do the menstrual problems make it more likely to be complications in the pregnancy?

I don't like how she raised her own children, leaving her 7a nd 8 year old at home by themselves on many occasions while she was out doing what she wanted to do. she also let her daughters molestor back in the house after he molested her. she doesn't like me because i don't treat her like she's my mother. she doesn't call to check on the kids anymore because she says i don't answer the phone when she calls, i was busy with two babies ages 2 and 5months, i don't have caller id and he neer leaves a message. she calls husband all the time, everyday almost. he doesn't understand. she has watched my 2 year old before and i was unsatisfied because she doesn't give her individed attention, she lets her run wild with her other teenage children. i can count on one hand how many times she held my 5 month old. what do you think?

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and I was in a car accident yesterday. I went to the hospital and what not (They monitored the baby for 4 hours). The baby is fine. I didn't hit my belly or anything. But I did manage to really hurt my hand pretty good (it's really swollen) and my neck back and ankle are hurting quite a bit. I'm just wondering if anyone has some safe pain relieving and/or swelling relief advice? I know I can take tylenol but I would really prefer to stay away from that. Also I have been icing my hand periodically but the swelling doesn't seem to be getting much better. (Please no "see/ask your doctor doctor" answers as I have seen the doctors and I want your oppinions now not theirs)

i'm 33 weeks, lost my mucus plug 2 weeks ago, and have been feeling pressure in my lower back and legs, i have also had what i would describe as period like cramps, none of the pain is intense and i am not contracting regularly. i will call my dr if it worsens, but wanted to know how soon after having these feelings you went into labor. i'm beginning to get concerned, im only 33 weeks

Quick question.. I am about to lose my mind because my son keeps throwing up.. he's done this every night for the past couple of weeks.. it's like..

1. I feed him
2. He throws it up
3. I clean him up and he screams and sucks on his hand like he's hungry again..
4. I feed him again
5. He throws it up
6. REPEAT

You get the picture.. Anyways.. I have NO clue what is wrong with him. I'm a first time mother..

I've already taken him to the doctor twice.. and she's already suggested rice cereal and we've switched his formula.. but nothing seems to work.

It only happends at night.. and I don't understand that part either. Any suggestions? PLEASE?
