ok. My period was 2 wks. late. it came and was light. a few days before and after I had a discharge of thick brownish/red stuff. What's up? ttc almost 6 mo.

Hey I recently read on here that drinking 1/2 cup olive oil with 1/2 cup orange juice is a cure for chronic constipation. Anyone tried it and know if it really works and would it be safe to drink during pregnancy?

Has anyone carried out a home pregnancy test before their missed period & had a positive result? I know you can get some that will test up to 4 days before your expected period but has anybody tested before this & if so how long? Thanks!

My cycle has been pretty screwy lately, therefore I'm not really sure when I ovulated (exactly) or when my period should be arriving. I took a test on Saturday, because I just had a feeling that I was pregnant. After about 30 seconds when I saw that it was negative I walked away. I came back about 2 hours later and there was a BFP plain as day (nice and dark)! I couldn't believe it! I have never gotten a BFP before (even after throwing them away, coming back the next day and taking the stupid thing apart, holding it up to the light and anything imaginable) so I knew that this had to be it! But then I decided to take another test this morning, just to confirm my excitement, and because there were two tests in the box, and this one was negative. I'm so confused! I'm going to the Dr. on the 21st for my pre-conception appointment, so I'm sure they'll tell me then, but I want to know now!! Any suggestions for me? Thanks! :)

I'm 30 weeks pregnant & this has been happening since I was about 15 weeks pregnant. The only difference now is it has gotten worse. It is painful for me to change my position or to get out of bed mostly. Walking has been pretty painful too. Is this normal? If so, are there any remedies for this?

My baby is due in June and my cat just loves to cuddle up in his crib right now. She is so sweet and small in there and I just hate to kick her out. If she responds well to the baby (as she has to my tummy thus far), then why can't she stay after the baby comes home?

I split with my ex back in august and my daughter 2yr old stayed with her as i had no where to live. my ex is an alcoholic and drinks heavily on a weekend with a number of people in the house, ive noticed that my daughter has small bruises on her from falling, the falling isnt whilst she is walking she's falling of the kitchen table and work tops. I want to contact the social but dont want her to know it was me, how would anyone else go about it i've spoke to my ex but she says that she cant always be around her 24/7. is she more interested in getting wrecked or about my daughter?

ok this morning i got a very posative test

so i called the eraly scan unit and told thenm , and she said nope could still be hormones in my system, but i had a neg test on 19th jan and i got this pos test sice 6dpo thi month..... she said evn tho i had that neg test she thinkd itsd still hormones, and if i am oppreg i cant be over 3 weeks alredy!!

omg what am i gonna do???? i need to tell df something hes all funny with me and my limbo land at the moment, i just feel like our health service needs a shake up , she evn refused me bloods saying that it would prove nothing my hgc could still be peeking after my miscarrage!! but i was only goin on 5 weeks when i mc so whats the deal?

i know you are not suposed to diet during pregnancy and believe me i would not risk a pregnancy that i have prayed for all over a bit of unwanted kilos but i was wondering if i eat really healthy and do pregnancy exercises and just do some light walking is it possible that after i give birth i could be lighter (once i loose the baby weight) than i was at the start of the pregnancy?You see im not actually pregnant at the moment im on clomid ttc but im finding it hard to get motivated to shape up because i know i'll get right into it then have to stop when i get pregnant and i just thought if i could safely keep it going through out the pregnancy and possibley loose some weight aswell i will find it easier to get motivated now instead of having to wait until after the baby is born.

My sister inlaw refuses to put her 2 year old in a toddler bed. He is constantly climbing out of his crib and has taken some pretty nasty falls from the 4 1/2 feet up. Hes been lucky to only get bruises on him from it. The bad thing is he has hemophilia so even a bruise is a bad thing for him especially. She says she doesn't want to put him in the bed because she doesn't want to have to get up with him in the morning.

We've tried everything we can think of to get her to do it.. telling her to suck it up to even buying the bed for her.

Can you give me any ideas on how to convince her its time?

All her little firends have started saying a lot more and some even string small sentances together. My daughter seems to still have a "high obeject recognition factor" and can point and fetch almost any household object you can name, she just doesn't say what they are even though she knows!

Should I be worried?

I have a 9 year old step brother, I hardly sees him, just recently my Dad ask for my help to tutor him because he didn't do so well in school. As I mentioned, he is 9 years old, but yet couldn't speak clearly. I couldn't understand most of the word he was saying. He couldn't spell/read long words and not able to make short sentence. He is also poor in maths, but able to count correctly if I draw or uses other objects in teaching. I am now using the first grade activity book, but he is still slow. Should I advised my Dad to send him to a dyslexia/special school?

is a big bed a good idea for a present she sleeps very well 7pm till 8am is very contented is this a good age to go for a big bed (were trying for baby no 2 so if i did it then she would be settled for baby comes along) i know i can take a wile sometimes but i court first go with my daughter and my sister did with her three so i think it will be quick xx
