dress her as u would urself - although babies do lose a lot of heat from their heads - like bald men they usually dont have the ability to keep their heads warm - and they need a beanie or something to stop heat loss or sun hat if its hot - feel her if shes sweating and red shes toooo hot just like u would be - if shes blue then shes too cold - just use ur commonsense - dont listen to others
u will know whats right for ur baby it just takes time patience and lots of mistakes - good luck enjoy ur baby and dont worry we all get it wrong sometimes

It is difficult to know for sure whether you've got the baby in the right amount of clothes. I think the advice about dress the baby as you dress is about right, if you feel okay then your baby will too.

Babies hands and feet are often cold, this is normal and doesn't mean the baby is cold. For a good guess at how warm the baby is, feel the back of her neck. My health professionals tell me the baby will let you know if she's too cold by crying. If she's too hot she may well just sleep, so err on the side of caution if you're not sure.

?? 0.4 pounds less?!? Oh no, that's really bad! I'm not even joking, see a doctor now! This is VERY serious, to me, it seems like 0.1 lost each week. Okay: 1. How much does a 6.3 pound baby eat per day? -However s/he wants 2. How long should each feeding take? Is 15 minutes enough? -When she refuses to have any more 3. Should I take her to her doctor to see if she is healthy? - Yes, Today 4. Should she be breastfed or should I supplement with formula? -You could have formula at night 5. How many hours per day should she spend eating? -When ever she cries for her missing breast, or bottle 6. Is she underweight being almost 1 month old and she is 6.3 pounds? - She lost weight from birth, in my opinion, yes 7. If she was born on her due date and weighed 6.7 pounds was she underweight? No, She is now though 8. What health condition is this if she vomits easily and will go about 4 hours without the desire to eat? - Sorry, I don't know, ask your doctor or midwife 9. Is being exclusively breastfed healthier for her or unhealthier? - Breastfeeding is healthier, but ask your doc 10. What should I be eating that can help her gain some weight? - She should eat more Ask these to your doctor, s/he will know more. Good Luck!

Dress your baby how you dress to be comfortable. If you have on a t-shirt and a sweater, dress baby in a onesie/undershirt and a sweater. If it's hot and you fee like running around in your undies, let baby fly in just its diaper (or a sundress/tank onesie if going out). The same goes for sleeping. If you have on a shirt and need an extra blanket, likewise for baby.

My doc told me to dress my baby the way I would dress. If I'm cold then my baby is probably cold. If your going out and it's cold then dress in layers so that when your inside you can take one or two layers. I guess it really depends on where you live. I'm in NY, so my son has to wear two layers, a snow suit, hat, gloves, and boots when we go out, It's been under 15 degrees here almost everyday.

Go by how you yourself are dressed, feel babies skin. On a very hot day dress in nappy and singlet wrap in cheese cloth wrap. On a cold day singlet nappy leggings and a top , again wrap in cheese cloth wrap and a bunny rug and hat. After being in mums stomache for so long wraps make baby feel secure and stop them from jumping, New borns should always be wrapped with hands in.

dress the baby as you dress. if you are cold they are cold. if you are hot they are hot. the only diff is they cant take the cold or heat as long as you can but they feel it exactly the same as you do.

the safest way is to dress your baby a little warmer than you think it needs. Remember, the baby was just recently sitting in 98.6 degrees (in your belly) and it is accustomed to being warm. Babies are also more comfortable (generally) when they are bundled up tight. This gives them a sense of security.

They say to dress them in one more layer than you. Usually if we are wearing t-shirts and pants, I will dress my baby in long shirt and pants. At 1 month I still would swaddle my babygirl too. Hope this helps. Best of luck.
