Pregnancy & Parenting - 11 February 2007

I just found out yesterday that i was one month pregnant... I have a 3 yr old daughter and with her I dont remember cramping.. I just want to know if it is normal.. it alittle worse then period cramps... My period was due yesterday to so it might be that but if anyone cant give me some answers id appreciate it.. Thank you

We've been married for about 4 years. We get along well. My wife really wants to have a baby asap. I don't want to have a baby, especially mine because I believe I have a bad gene (3 out of 5 males in our family have moderate to severe schizophrenia). After seeing a TV program on "60 minutes" regarding fertility clinic a while back we've discussed about going there and getting an anonymous doner sperm. Is this a good idea? If so what is a good fertility clinic in Southern California?

I would think doing it vaginally, your vagina would get really sretched out, making it not only really ugly looking, but sex would no longer be enjoyable for both parteners.

and i would also thing through c-section, you would end up with a super nasty scar, that would still look yucky years after giving birth

so whats the scoop?!

I have been ttc for 3 months, ovulated around a week or so ago and have started to get heartburn and constipation. i read somewhere that this could be an early sign? period due on the 15th.

I have too little info on sex
Sorry and did it for the first time
We used protection & nothing went rongh (neither it burst nor it had hole )
My menses are due for 20th Feb

But still i am scared of getting pregnent
The question is it becoz i am scared i could be having feeling that i am pregnant as i dont have any of the symptoms of pregnancy
Just having feelings that i might miss my menses and be pregnant????

I am 33 weeks pregnant and have been on meds to stop my labor since I was 28 weeks. I am dialated to a fingertip and the baby's head is right there. Everyday I get more and more restless and impatient but worried aswell. On the 28th I will be taken off the medication and I am a lil scared. I will be 36 weeks but I want my son to be able to feed ok. I guess my question is for those who have been there or know someone who has.

3 out of 5 weekends and evenings till 11:30. I am fairly new to town (8 months). My co workers use their husbands and older kids. My kids are young and I am single. Teenagers are busy and get jobs with 4 kids that pay 50-100 per shift or they get a job nowadays at the store for $9 an hour. Anyone else about to pull your hair out. day homes want day hours. Day cares are closed. What do you do????

Well i had unprotected sex a few times around time of ovulation. and last week i was experiencing headaches and period like cramps but no period my period is due today (12/2/07) but still no period, i am extreamly tired and still have faint cramps, as well as back ache, i did a test this morning but it said negative, but ive still got cramps and really tired, i just dont feel right. could i be pregnant??? thank u 4 your answers

Dose anyone know of a way to adopt that dose not cost an arm and a leg. My husband makes a good living but not enough to pay 5,000-50,000 dollars for adoption fees. I am a stay at home wife. The most we could pay at one time is about 2,000. We have looked into domestic and international adoption but cannot afford ether one. Private adoption is a possibility but I cannot find info on the subject.

i see the lines cutting through the gums and it looks as tho her 2 outter teeth are growing 1st instead of the 2 front teeth. Does that happen? i cant feel the teeth yet but i can see the whites of it. Theres a huge gap between the u[coming new teeth. So does it mean her outter teeth is growing in 1st or that shes gonna have a gap?

We originally thought about naming her Haley Christina, but then my husband confessed that he didnt really like the name Haley and wanted to go with a name that we had chosen earlier. So now we're on Makenzi Leigh. With our last name Buratti, I think it sounds cute all together, but my mother in law said she didnt like the name Makenzi. What do you think?

My daughter just turned 6. Over the summer she started to pee her pants again. She's been potty trained since she was 3. I have no idea why she is doing this. This last week it has been really bad. She's pee'ed her pants 4 times. I don't know what to do!!! I've tried everything. Rewards for not peeing, hasn't worked, yelling, hasn't worked, spanking, hasn't worked, talking to her, hasn't work. When I ask her why she's doing it, she says "I don't know!' or "i need more attention!" She gets TONS of attention.

It doesn't hurt when she pee's, and there's no odor, so I don't think she has a UTI. Does anyone have any ideas of how to stop this or why she could be doing this?? I need help. I'm going crazy!!!

I have a 3 year old daughter and my sister has a 3 year old son. We all went to a christening today and after the church everyone went to a restaurant to eat.

I brought a Dora doll and a travel Aquadoodle for my daughter and my sister brought a little box of plastic building toys for her son. And we didn't see even one other child/parent with a toy, stuffed animal, book, etc.

There were about 9 kids under 5 years old at the restaurant and EVERY one of them fought with our kids for these toys. One woman actually took the Dora doll off of our table and took it back to her table, telling my daughter that her son "really loves Dora and needs to play with it for a few minutes."

I just don't get it. If you're going somewhere with your child and you know you'll be gone for several hours, how can you not bring something for them to play with? Or a coloring book ... something?

For example.
I was at Target yesterday
and the lady had, Id say a 4 year old and the 4 year old was sort of wandering, doing her own thing, but not more than, 12 feet away from her mother. The mom goes, "olivia, im going to spank you if you dont get over here" so the daughter came closer, the woman got louder and repeated herself. By this time the girl was about 5 feet from her mother, Then the mom goes, "Thats it Olivia you are getting a spanking!, and gives the girl a spanking in public, alot of public, and puts a leash on her!!
ITS LIKE HEY LADY SHE WAS 5 FEET AWAY FROM YOU, not a big deal! and totally embarrassed the little girl. I wanted to smack the lady.

I asked this question a little while ago but didn't exactly get the answers I was looking for. I am trying to conceive and was 3 days late.. the day I was supposed to start around the 8th and on the 8th I felt full blown period symptoms but no period... Today I have had light bleeding but nothing major like usual. There isn't enought blood to wear a light tampon etc... Does this sound like implantation remotely?
