I have been hearing so much about Mad Science and Little Gym birthday parties lately. Are they worth it?

Just ask what he wants.

How old is the child? Give them some ideas and let them be part of the planning so it's not a disappointment. I've never heard of Mad Science and Little Gym birthday parties. If it's for a girl, how about Build-A-Bear??

My son loves trains and since his birthday falls around my aunts birthday we decide to have a double birthday party/family reunion type thing and rent one of the cars on the train.

I haven't been to either of those birthday parties yet, but I went to a build-a-bear one a little over a month ago. And it wasn't that bad. Each kid gets a bear and maybe clothing (depending on how much the parents who are throwing the party wants to spend)

Prices start out at 10 dollars per child and there has to be a minimum of 6 children.

while we get invites and that they are serving lunch they say pizza, cake, ice cream, punch would be served. this sort all of us understand if we could continuously feed our young toddlers till now we bypass. So that's a good option to contain! in case you have particularly some little ones and could pay for all them then i would not purchase the adults pizza. i do no longer strategies while i bypass and that i certainly do no longer anticipate the mummy and dad to accomplish that the two. yet- I had my 2 ladies birthday section at the same time, Birthday have been a week aside. They each and each had 5 travelers with mum and dad or the mummy and dad who had to stay. i bought 5 or 6 pizzas i think of and there became lots for adults. the youngsters enjoyed the pizza too and ate lots. So i think of the two way is nice, it incredibly is as much as you and that i do no longer think of the mummy and dad could be offended in case you probably did no longer the two. perhaps you're able to ask them till now ordering. Adults could understand that that's a baby's birthday occasion. maximum who've been to many events, understand this and don't anticipate the host to grant for them, yet you do no longer make the youngster pay for the lunch- that's cheesy.

We just threw my 5 yr old granddaughter a bowling birthday party. They had a great time and watching them bowl was priceless. We had no real cleanup and for $5.50 per child that included their shoes, 1 game each and a soda with a hot dog or piece of pizza. We proved the chips, goody bag for the kids, party hats, plates ect and the cake. Well worth it i think.

I'am a bit old fashioned cause I'am grandma raising little ones, but we have fun doing oldfashioned stuff, like pinats, playing games like mother may I, red light, statue, red rover,hide-and-seek. We have talent shows and everyone gets into the act from the youngest to the oldest. We have play dress up contest for small prizes, when the weather's nice in late spring or summer I give their parties outside in our large backyard or sometimes in the park. These ideas don't cost much and the kids really have fun!!!

When my girls were kids I always asked them what they wanted it was always so much cheaper and now that I have custody of my nephew I do the same, it works great because I never had to rack my brain with it and the kids always know down to the last detail what to do. My nephew is having a skating party this year.

When my kids were little, I loved any party that wasn't in my home! Those are both great party options.

I agree. Just ask she or he what they want. It might even be cheaper. You could also have a sleep over. Small cake, few movies, few friends. The downfall, few presents.
