I am 9 weeks and I have had cramps from time to time since I found out I was preggo. I heard that it was from the uterus stretching out bit by bit. However, if the crmping is severe or accompanied by bleeding, see your doc to make sure you and the baby are okay! Other than that, I think a little pain and discomfort in the area is pretty normal. Good luck!

CRAMPING IS NOT NORMAL. When you experience cramp-like pain, it means that you are having contraction that would cause bleeding and eventually abortion. So don't take it for granted! Go see your ob-gyne right away. The doctor will surely prescribed something to stabilize your uterus and prevent bleeding.

Depending on your condition, the doctor might also advise that you take a lot of bed rest or complete bed rest as the case may be.

Every pregnancy is different. You might have been lucky in you first but your second might be a delicate one. So please don't take chances. A lot of factors contribute to pregnancy. Age, hormones, etc.

I have never personally experienced cramping but I have always read that a lot of the times when a woman finds out she is pregnant she will experience period like symptoms without the bleeding. I would think it is ok as long as there is no blood associated with it. You can always call your doctor to make you feel better.

Slight bleeding or cramping
Some women experience a small amount of spotting or bleeding very early in pregnancy, about 10 to 14 days after fertilization. Known as implantation bleeding, it happens when the fertilized egg first attaches to the lining of the uterus. This type of bleeding is usually a bit earlier, spottier and lighter in color than a usual period and doesn't last long

I had cramping like your talking about till I was about 4 months along. As long as there is no blood, you should be just fine. Tell your doctor just in case there is a chance of a problem.

I would see a doctor if they are severe! I never had "bad" cramps when pregnant. If you see blood...get to the ER.

Good luck & Congrats!
