Relax. You used protection. So, it's 98% safe from pregnancy+ STDs if it was used properly, no defected and not expired. Wait until the next menstrual cycle. Don't think too much like oh, i might miss. Your stress can make your menstrual delay and you will be more scared. If it doesn't appear on your next menstual cycle, get tested with home pregnancy tests.

I used to be just like you! I would have sex (or sometimes not even intercourse) and worry for weeks about whether or not I was pregnant. I always used protection like you but still was horrified at the thought of becoming pregnant. I always seemed to think of the worst case scenario then assume that's what would happen to me. Well, I'm still not pregnant and you probably aren't either (although nothing but abstinence is 100%). I'll tell you straight up what was going on with me: I was horrified of becoming pregnant not b/c I was young but b/c I didn't want to have to marry the guy I had sex with. I didn't know this at the time but a little while later I figured that out. Of course, I know that you don't have to get married if you get pregnant but I didn't want to have to be co-dependent on this person the rest of my life. I quit worrying as much about getting pregnant (now it's a safe amount of concern) when I got with someone I really love and have been with for a long time. Although it's good that you used protection and realize there is still a risk of pregnancy, you might not be ready to be sexually active on a regular basis. Even though you're not a virgin, you can still choose not to have sex for any length of time you wish.

Sweetie, it would be too early to know or ave any symptoms if you were pregnant, but if you used protection carefully, for the WHOLE TIME (not just at the end before he came), and nothing burst, your chances of being pregnant are very low. I think almost everyone freaks out like this after they start having se for the first time. To be extra safe in the future and to ease your mind, you might want to visit planned parenthood or your local health department...you can get free info on sex and pregnancy, free condoms, and in some places free birth control pills. However, if you're sorry you had sex, you may not be ready. Don't worry, you're not "ruined"...it's perfectly okay to do it once and decide you're not ready, then not do it again for a while until you're more prepared, factually, physically, and emotionally. I don't think you're pregnant this time, but just arm yourself with knowledge and birth control in the future...and have sex again when YOU'RE ready.

I actually think you may be physicking yourself out. But condoms are only 99% affective even if there was no malfunctions. If you did not have sex that long ago, such as last night, then I would suggest if you do not want to be pregnant, go to a pharmacy and get the Plan B pill. Most places it is $10. Taking that just in case is always a good backup for those who are not sure but want peace of mind. So good luck with everything, and I hope I was of help.

okay, calm down. You need to relax. If you stress out about being pregnant you may very well miss your period for that reason. If the condom was fine, you should be alright. Just be patient. If you're period doesn't come, then you should just take a preg test. But wait until after you miss a period before you take a test to give you a more accurate result. How long ago did you have sex? If it was just a little while ago, you may not have symptoms. Give it some time.

Truth is, you used reasonable protection, and you didn't have any leaks. I doubt you will get pregnant. But for the future, consider using a spermicide (comes as suppositories, dissolving films, and creams) along with the condom, and follow the instructions EXACTLY. Most require that you insert the spermicide at least 10 minutes b4 intercourse, and you may need to lies still for a while after he ejaculates. Combining a condom with a spermicide still isn't 100%, but the only thing that is 100% is full abstinence and zero genital contact with semen.

First, you have to put in mind that there is no contraceptive that works 100%. Since you had sex, pregnancy is a possibility. But its too early to tell now...wait until February 20 and see if you menstruate or not...in case you miss your period try a home pregnancy kit. There are brands which can accurately detect pregnancy on the first day you miss your menstruation.
But again its too early to worry about it...don't worry about the future. Pregnancy is a totally wonderful experience. And please dont ever commit abortion!!!!

Hey, Its perfectly normal to be anxious and scared abotu getting pregnant. When i first started having sex i would scare/excite myself that i was pregnant and my mind would start putting tricks on my mind. I would get the tender breasts and increased urrination. But Really You just have to wait for your period and if it doesnt come go to the pharmacy and get the pack that has two HPTs that way you can take one 4 days before your expect period

Relax. If your protecttion was adequate, and it appears that it was, it is unlikely in the extreme that you are pregnant. Just survive the next ten days without freaking out, and get yourself a prescription for the Pill.

Yes you are pregnant. Time to take your boyfriend, his parents, and your parents to the courthouse and get a marriage license. While you are all there, see if you can get a marriage certificate also. Do this for the sake of your child.
