I have just found out that my young son (22) and his girl (21) are expecting their first child, i am starting to collect some things for them as they have nothing, i would like to get them a good EASY to read book....any ideas please?

You women are going to think i am totally bonkers thinking this but i think i am pregnant and i think it happend just before my period arrived (period was not like normal).

that will be 2 weeks ago now and for the past week or so i have been gradually feeling signs i am pregnant.....

i have been having cramping (since period finished) it varys positon say left,centre and right, it is not painfull just feels like a pulling sensation. I have been really tired slept 18 hours one night, i cant seem to stop crying and just want to cry cry cry and i cant explain why. In the mornings i have a stuffy nose and then throughout the day i will be runny.

I feel very sick at times when i have eaten and when i have no eaten for a while it can be to the point were my gag reflexes take place, i feel sick when i am in the car aswell and have never in my life had car sickness. i also feel dizzy at times.

I find this really interesting and puzzling that although men and women know that sexual intercourse causes pregnancy, I really get annoyed whem they preted not to be aware of a possible pregnancy. This is especially shown in American movies where the woman reveals she's pregnant and the man exclaims disbelief or totall astonishment.
I have black origin, and in my culture, we always know what's gonna happen when we've missed a pill, the condom broke or simply there was no protection!
Can anyone give me an explanation why white people behave as if they don't know when a child is likely to be concieved. AND why do they refer to the pregnancy as a blessing as if it is a gamble who gets pregnant. I think anyone can get pregnant through interourse! even from your rapist!

From birth, I have placed my 10 month old to sleep on his belly in accordance with the Sudden Infant Death Syndrome guidelines. Now that he's more mobile, he is rolling onto his belly and falling asleep there. I check on him and roll him back to his back. Does anyone know if this is risky now that he is 10 months old? Are the risk of SIDS still there. I've heard up until 12 months old.

I saw a question asked earlier and it pissed me off. A lady asked abotu dating as a single parent and a lot of the posts told her she shouldn't worry abotu men. Why not? Is there any reason a parent should have to go through life without the love of another because they have a child? My praents divorced when I was 16. My mom married the guy she left my dad for. My dad has dated numerous women that I have met. I don't talk to most of them now but there are still a few I have very close bonds with. It just irks me that people think single parents should focus on nothing more than being a parent. I thought everyone deserved to be in love.

When the baby was born did they make moves to get back and if so why did you take him back if you had been negleted when you needed them most, how could you forgive such selfish behaviour?

In my case I got pregnant, he delighted at telling everyone, then dumped me before are wedding, now wants backs (only because I financially more secure than him) when I refused, he refused any child support payments. Now at 38 weeks I think he family are under some strange illusion that I could take a weak man like this back. My family and friends would be appaulled if I did, but Im interested to know what was the insentive for taking your partner back, financial support, for the child or perhaps giving the family unit thing a go, even though the trust must be gone?

I am expecting and have put a lot of thought into names, I love Aubrey or Adelaide for a girl and Dakota or Lane for a boy, I read my list of about 20 boy and girl names to my husband and he vetoed almost all of them, especially my favorites without giving me alternatives that he likes, what do you think of my choices and how do you suggest we approach our differences as a team? I know I have something wrong with me mentally, but I refuse to get help. I'm told by my husband that I'm just psychotic b1tch and should never have been made a mother. I neglect my children. I know of a girl that has a child and she doesnt have a job and then yet doesnt get any assistance. She is sleeping around w/ anyone so she can get pregnant with another child which she honestly doesnt need!

It has snowed here like 4 inches and it was like 5 deg. and her daughter peed in her pants and she made her walk to the car which was bout a five minute walk or longer and the little girl only had on a jacket and a pull up with boots.

She screams and yells and this little girl constantly and puts bad things in her head that the little girls father and new g/f has done to her.
When she is yelling at her he says get off me I will ******* beat your ***/ and bad thngs like that.

She may only get to eat once a day and she always is begging for food and the mother says NO you have had enough..

I am worried about the girl and the mom doesnt need another child. Her bank account if over drawn and she just keep writing bad checks. How do I help this little girl?

She was recently pregnant but she chose to have an abortion because i had to set some rules for her since she was little miss know it all. She acts like she is so in love with this boy that has no job because he is 15. I told her that i would not be raising no grandkids and she expected me too and i said either have an abortion or move out of my house and go and try to place house herself well she came to her senses about the whole "I'm going to be a teenage mom" idea.
Now what is left is this stupid little teenage bum. How will i make her get rid of him?

My period is 4 days late, on the day my period was due I was so sure I was going to get my period becoz i had I had bad period pain, I was tired, grumpy and very flushed! Then my period never came so i thought i would just wait to see if it came the next day and it never came i just kept running to the toilet with femine pads thinking my period was there but it wasn't it was just discharge so i waited until the next day but the same thing and today nothing again still discharge and a nauseated feeling on and off and a few twinge cramps but could they be implantation cramps if so what are they like?? I did a preg test this morning it was a faint positive but I don't want to get my hopes up if I'm not! Is discharge an early preg sign??
