I have been having migraines everyday of my life. I was givin zanogran pills to take everyday, they block the migraines. If I'm pregnant would they be alright to take? Is it healthy for me to carry a child with these health problems?

It is fine to be pregnant and have migranes, unfortunately you probably shouldnt be taking the medication if you are. You should definitely consult your doctor about it, but my sister also suffers from migranes and is currently pregnant and they told her that she could only take aspirin nothing else.

When you find out your pregnant your GP or midwife should ask you if you are taking any regular medication. Do check!! I suffered from migraines during my first pregnancy and I wasn't giving medication. When I did get a migraine though I had to go into hospital and they put me on a monitor to monitor the baby and me to make sure everything was ok. Once I had had the baby I did get prescribed medication and was fine. I'm just over 37weeks pregnant with my 2nd daughter and haven't suffered with any migraines this time.
Good luck xx

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information
