I find this really interesting and puzzling that although men and women know that sexual intercourse causes pregnancy, I really get annoyed whem they preted not to be aware of a possible pregnancy. This is especially shown in American movies where the woman reveals she's pregnant and the man exclaims disbelief or totall astonishment.
I have black origin, and in my culture, we always know what's gonna happen when we've missed a pill, the condom broke or simply there was no protection!
Can anyone give me an explanation why white people behave as if they don't know when a child is likely to be concieved. AND why do they refer to the pregnancy as a blessing as if it is a gamble who gets pregnant. I think anyone can get pregnant through interourse! even from your rapist!

The only people I know who are surprised to find out they are pregnant are very young teens who don't think anything will happen to them. There just movies don't put too much stock in them.
Some religious folks will tout pregnancy as a blessing or a gift from god, I agree w you - it is just sperm meeting egg. It happens under horrible circumstance, it happens to people who have no business being parents and sometimes people who would be great parents just cant get pregnant - its just biology not a reward or punishment sent by god.

And basically the place do all our technical digital products come from, for the main section? China and Japan. without those imports, the Western international places would not have a million/2 of what they have, in technologies. that's a necessary element of Western existence any greater. And Japan, probable China, is previous to the West with their technologies. What they have in Japan, technologies clever, isn't yet considered interior the u . s .. cellular telephones case in point, are previous to the U. S.. there replace right into a time while Westerners felt they have been stronger, and in actuality had the excellent to sense that way. the business Revolution positioned the u . s . previous to different international places, in automobiles, planes, electronics, and so on. and the residing standards have been larger. (stronger in that experience of the be conscious, no longer stronger as people) yet that has replaced. Now the East is growing to be to be the business significant, and so the u . s . and different western international places, are taking a back seat. i think of that if the worldwide lasts long sufficient, issues will ultimately even out. As China and Japan the two replace into greater industrialized, the wages of workers and the typical of residing will shop growing to be, and quickly, they too would be on the factor u.s. is at now. there is evidence that wages are increasing in China, with a view to maintain human beings working. Hours are being shortened and unions will replace into element of ways of existence. China has a brilliant dependency on its exports, and so would desire to shop workers happy with a view to fulfill the call for of exports mandatory. So, while the money difficulty levels out, the enjoying fields will initiate switching back and rigidity, from East to West and back. Imports and exports will replace into greater worldly and much less placed in one or 2 considerable spots.

Well you think wrong, Not everyone can get pregnant.
Took me 14 years, and 2 doctors told me I couldn't. So when I went to the doctor for lack of energy, thinking it was my thyroid and my medication needed adjusting,it never occurred to me that I was knocked up.

Did it ever occur to you that there are more white people having trouble conceiving, yet there are very few black people who have the same problem in that area?
I have 6 white friends who have yet to conceive a child, and only 2 black friends who haven't. And my ratio of blk and wht friends are about the same.

Think a little further into it before you go spewing about pregnancy, we are not all created equal. Our personal levels of fertility are different. From culture to culture to person to person. And alot of folks who aren't able to conceive would find your "observation" extremely offensive. On that note, I've known African American women, who didn't know they were pregnant. I've also met a blk woman who swears that her daughter didn't have intercourse, yet she gave birth to a little girl...but I don't go around basing an opinion on the her race because she's in denial.

I beg to differ about the race issue. I know just as many African-American women who think that THEY won't get pregnant just because they have unprotected sex. They know how to stop it by, douching, getting up to pee after, by pulling out, etc. So when they turn up with a little one on the way, they are shocked.

Nope, it not jus the white people it's ALL cultures that think it's not gonna happen to them.

It's because many Americans have completely disassociated sex and procreation. It's heavily portrayed in movies and media that sex is just for recreational purposes; you should have as much as you can with as many people as you can or you're not living the good life.

There is also the thought thread running through our society that says you should be able to do whatever it is you feel like doing, and no one should ever judge you and there should never be any consequences.

When you put these two aspects together you end up with people who are surprised that the very act that is designed to create life has done so.

You must keep in mind though, that American society is not as crazy as movies portray it to be. By far and wide, Americans are better, smarter people than many of Hollywood's silly movies portray us to be

So, you shouldn't be suprised if you've been on birth control for 10 years and become pregnant? What about if you have been told to you are infertile. You start feeling sick and go to the doctor to confirm pregnancy, you shouldn't be suprised? Not everyone can become pregnant.

This is a normal reaction and has nothing to do with race or color or culture. Sounds like it hasn't happened to you yet. Having a child is a blessing, you are taking things out of context.
