Certainly they can eat what adults eat, but their taste buds are more sensitive. They do not like heavily spiced food, onions, or other strong flavors. Kid favorites are easy to fix. Spaghetti, mac and cheese, PBJ's, are all kid faves. Vegetables are best eaten when they are mixed into things like tuna casserole or a stir-fried rice. Cheez wiz can disguise them well, but be careful not to overuse it. For the most part, the kids will want to eat what they are used to eating at home. Talk to the parents and work out a basic meal plan. You can introduce them to some of your favorites, but don't push them to try everything. Some kids are extremely averse to trying anything new.

my boys {ages almost 3, and 7} eat the same things that my husband and i eat-- with very few exceptions... if your really stressing about it, ask the parents of the kids.... they might feel like us, that we dont want our kids to get picky, and they have to eat the same thing as us... We dont believe in making more than one dinner @ night.... and both ofmy boys eat very well.... and for drink? juice or koolaid of course, unless the parents have a rule... some parents say water or milk only...
so, check with the parents... i can guarantee, that the parents will be pleased with you showing that you are interested in their parenting style. And, it will save you any problems like, food allergys etc.

well my daughters favourites are hotdogs, party pies and sausages rolls, chicken chippys pretty much anything thats not real healthy on the other hand she loves healthy things like broccoli and colliflower with cheese sauce, ham and cheese pasta bake and also ham cheese and tomato jaffels but that suggestion up the top about using muffins and making little pizzas is a winner of an idea!!! im gonna use that one for my daughter (2 years old).

yes, they eat "normal adult food!" The 3 year old might like plain food like pasta and rice. Fruit is great. Water is good to but they probably wont drink it! Get some fruit juice but not orange. to acidic. Best of all why don't you just call them up and ask!!

My children (aged 19 months up to 10 years) eat ANYTHING. I know other children though can be very picky. It might be best to ask the parents if the kids are picky eaters, and if so what they eat.

I have two daughters 3 and 5, and they eat whatever we eat. The only difference is you have to cut up food like steak and spagetti. I would check with their parents, it seams a lot of kids have more allergies than when I was younger.

Basically they can eat what you eat. Most kids that age live chicken nuggets & french fries. Pizza. Macaroni & cheese, Hot dogs, Hambugers. I always try to sneak a vegetable in . They usually go for corn.

talk to the parents first to check for allergies, and find out the kind of things they like. You could use those small pitta bread things or english muffins and make small portioned pizzas. that way there can be a few varieties of toppings and the children can use their fingers. It looks fun to them, and they wont know that what's on it can be healthy
