My husband and I have 5 children - 3 girls and 2 boys - and 6th child (girl) due in 3 weeks.We want her name be suitable for all the other family members' names.

The first name of the newborn will start with "J" and the middle name will start with "D".Please everyone make just one suggestion.

Can any one suggest comfortable sleeping positions, or helpful ways to relax and peacefully fall asleep?

Please do not answer if all you have to suggest is body pillows, laying on your left side, lavender oil, or taking a bath. DUH! I am 7 months along & falling asleep takes me HOURS!

Is it normal that at just 27 weeks my nipples are sore and leaking small amounts of milk?

I have looked on different websites and have found many different opinions and was wondering if this is normal and if there is anyone else who has experience of this? I did not produce any milk until after I had had my baby during my first pregnancy, and I'm worried that this may be a sign that my baby could be premature. I have had a complicated pregnancy and I am slightly anemic, have placenta previa and a haematoma.

recently my daughter has been crying at my visitors when they come round,she cries and wont open her eyes.she knows some of my visitors really well and previously was ok with them.she isnt shy normally.before she would talk to them but now she wont even look at them..shes just got over a cold.was wondering if it could be that.

I personally think it's great. If a Teacher can't control their temper weather they are being provoked or not shouldn't be around children and they need to be exposed.

Has anyone suffered from Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction during pregnancy? I'm at 39 weeks, experiencing all of the symptoms, have an appt scheduled with the OB, and I am considering asking for a scheduled C-Section. Any insights?

for this month, i got my period 2-3 days late. usually it is a 29 day cycle. THis month it is 31-day cycle. there was no heavy flow, period lasted on the first day. Before i got my period i felt my breasts have enlarged in size and was nipples were sore to touch. It still continues after my period also. is there any chance that i am pregnant? i am very eager to know what is happening to me

It is a big deal and I just don't know what to say to her. I have always told her that only adults or married people can have babies (call me narrow minded). We havent had a talk about how babies get here. Is this the time to tell her? And if so then what do I say? My husband says to let her cousin and aunt tell her but in the end she will come to us with the questions. Please help, my family needs it big time.

I know this is a good sleep but she goes to daycare 3 days a week and I need her routine to be the same which means waking at 7am. She sleeps well through the day 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon and then i have to put her down for another 1/2 hour at 5pm to get her through till 7.30. She is on 3 meals a day and she's not night waking unless she has rolled onto her tummy and cant get back.

I startd taking a prenatel vitamin, but have been getting sick lately. The bottle says to take with a meal but I find I sometimes can't keep my meals down, so is it a waste to take them then? I took one last night before I whent to bed instead, is this okay? Do I have to take with meal? Can I take before bed instead? How long does it take to get into my system?

I have recentley recieved $30k from victims compensation- I want to make sure my baby has a positive future - what should i do with the money?? I wanted to buy a house, but because i care for my baby fulltime, no banks will give me a loan for a house unless I work...and I hate the thought of putting him in daycare - HELP!!

Hello I have a few questions.
First off I was ordered to pay child support of $188 every 2 weeks, That has been being taken out of my paychecks, That was understandable (the first check that was all that was deducted from my net pay.) Then on my second check (2 weeks later) They took out $188, Plus now they take out an extra $18 for dental and $77 for medical benifits. My job has insurance, at that rate. A total of $284 each check now. I make $10 /hr. work 35-40 hours a week and after taxes that will leave me with $800 a month. My rent is $600, Bills $150 and i owe $8,000 on a credit card with a minimun payment of $230 a month. My car ins. Is $50 a month, Thats a Total of $1030 of bills I am required to pay. Im -230 a month to pay my bills, and thats if i dont eat or spend any money on gas or anything else.

Well my other question, If im paying $200 a month on medical insurance for the child, I pay that on top of the ordered child support payments?

My g/f knows this girl who said she was raped and as a result had twins. This sounded believable to me but, being a skeptic, I had to question this. I know alot of girls that said they have been "raped" but this girl thrives off of the "system" and refuses to get a job because she will lose benefits if she does. She is taking courses at college and is nice but she is young enough ( 19-20) to where this so-called rape might be statutory and she is playing it for what it's worth.

What are your experiences with "welfare mothers"??

I am due to have a baby on the 6th May and My fiancee and I have discussed the fact that we would like the first week or so just to ourselves to get to know our little one (our first born) and get used to being parents (and recover!). We really don't want to upset our friends and family (for his family it will be the first Grandchild, Great Grandchild, Neice/Nephew etc) but we anticipate that as soon as I get out of hospital there will be an endless stream of visitors. I am happy for them to visit me in hospital as my parents will be travelling 157 miles when I give birth but they have insisted they want to leave when I come out of Hospital and come back 2 weeks later when my fiancee has returned to work to help me out(they understand completely how we feel) so it really is just his family we need to discuss this with and friends. Are we being rude or did anyone else feel this way? Any advice would be great esp if you have any ideas on how we go about talking to them.

I know very little about babies. WE're getting a 5 1/2 month old as part of a sibling group for emergency foster care for the weekend. Do you think he'll be too big to sleep in a bassinette? We have a choice of that or my husband's old crib. (which his little sister, who is 10 years younger than him slept in, so he knows more about babies than I do)
