and is there a way i can tell how the presentation (lie) of the baby at 32 weeks

Your uterus contracts - not the baby. I wonder the other part of your question too, I am going to ask my midwife next time as she could tell that my baby's head was facing downwards, god knows how they do it LOL.

Your uterus contracts and your dr can feel to see where the baby lies. Or listen to the position of babys heartbeat. That is what mine did.

in normal cases your uterus contact, but in some cases it is posible that it will hit your baby.
