First, is it legal to put an unauthorized tape on you tube without the written consent of the participants? Let me say I am not a teacher but did you ever wonder why the kids on the tape are taping and not trying to learn. Some of the students at school have behaviour that leaves much to be desired. What about students who block the steps of a funeral home so the family and friends can't access the stairs?( grades 7-8).What about the "smart" kids who bully the child who is a "little bit different".What about the students who show no respect for the teacher, their classmates and disrupt the class on a daily basis. My nephew had his faced kicked(and it left the footprint on his face) while he was on crutches. This was done on the school bus.WHERE are the parents of these star pupils. I AM ALL FOR THE CLASSROOMS BEING ON VIDEOTAPE so when an overworked, underpaid and under-appreciated teacher informs you YOUR child is disrupting the education of every other student maybe you can believe your eyes. These students should be suspended based soley on the video tape. Who is to say these alleged tapes have not been staged.I'm sure whatever led up to the teacher's alleged outburst has been omitted.Did you ever think that the whole tape was a set up and not spontaneous. If you are willing to judge the teacher on a you tube tape then the same justice should be applied to the students.Immediate suspension.

No
Not unless they show why the teacher is flipping. Otherwise, can teachers put videos of children goofing off in their classrooms? Ya, i didn't think so. With kids these days, I'd NEVER be a teacher.

I didnt know that kids were doing that. I really honestly dont think its ok. Kids are idiots and if they make the teacher mad in no way should that be made public. Does any other job allow you to record your boss or coworker then put in on the net. You would be fired if you did that. No its not ok and should not be tolerated.
I still think its kinda funny though..im gonna check it out today :)

I think the children should behave so the teachers dont have to go off like that. And you should not be taping the teacher at school without her permission.

The teacher is in a public venue so yes, it is fair. I was in the UK and they have cameras CCTVs in alot of places, maybe we should do that also and sell the funny ones to YouTube to help raise the pay of our Educators.

mum and dad are allowed to gently beat their infants in the event that they disobey their mum and dad. it rather is Islam even though it won't be in a position to be like the Western definition of thrashing. My husband replaced into hit at school whilst he replaced into little. i think of nonetheless that Saudi Arabia banned hitting scholars at school.

i think this is so wrong on many levels, i dont think kids should have phones etc in class to begin with, and then why is that what kids today are thinking? sitting in class supposidly getting an education and there sitting thinking i know ill film this, then stick it on you tube, i dont know what kind of place the world is going to become, suing because of your own stupidity its getting so out of hand, and the next generation is going to come up the same.

I don't think it is okay if the teacher is unaware of it. Just as I don't think it is okay for anyone to be put on YouTube if they aren't aware of it.

I think that's a great idea. Bad teachers need to be exposed. Thanks for sharing that idea as I plan to implement it beginning next Monday.
