my 7 yr old son is quite shy and im looking for something that he could get involved in that would give him a little more confidence.he has no interest in football and i think this is where the lack of confidence has came from most of the boys in his class tend to play and he,s "left out" a lot.he can swim and i thought about a swimming club but then thought maybe he,s better with something with more contact/team work?he loves "wrestling"his dad i then thought about some sort of martial arts? any ideas would be appreciated.

My baby takes her bottle and an hour later she will be crying for more food. I do not want to keep giving in to her as she will take too much milk and get fat. I do not like the idea of giving her a dummy. What can I do when she starts crying for food, when I know she can't really be hungry?

When it come to naming your baby or child after they are born..I never stuck to Tradition and the reason for this..there always fighting on who should have the family name. It's easyer if you give your child a name you and your hubby like..not what your family see and feels fit.
You be the judge and deside,so what do you think

Let me explain before I get sectioned as a nutter 'laughs'.
I was diagnosed with Polycistic Ovarian Syndrome at 14 after my periods stopped after only starting the previous year. They said they could only help me to concieve when the time came an put me on the pill, talk about pmt for years, anyway when I was 19 I stopped taking it tried for 15 moths and was then given clomid to help me concieve which worked but I had the pregnancey from hell as I was ill all the way through it. After my little girl was born I was petrified of getting pregnant again, although I had periods for 12 months on my own without help anyway and then became regular on their own. Anyway when she was 3 we decided to try for another my husband and I have been trying for 5 years last year after unusual bleeding and late I found I was pg but was told 2 days after that I was miscarrying which lasted for 6 weeks untill the hospital had to remove 'Little Star' but now my periods have stopped and not pg any ideas?

Hi,

My last period was on 04/01/07. My cycles are a bit irregular so I have been testing daily from about day 12. On Friday (02/02/07) I tested and the Ovulation test showed positive and again on Saturday. I had sex on both these days and on the Sunday (04/02/07). The test showed as negative on the Sunday so I guess I must have ovulated now? Please confirm that this is the case as I have never used the tests before and really want to know if I have a chance of conceiving. Thank you for your help with this.

I am scheduled for my induction today and I have to be there at 4:30 this afternoon. I originally thought that they were just going to apply the gels and what have you but isn't that very early of that's all we are doing today? Will they start pitocin too? I guess my question is will I have the baby today or tomorrow?
I have been induced before but it was not scheduled and it was like 9 pm. My hubby's birthday is tomorrow so I was just wondering. Plus I'm scheduled for a tubal following the delivery, which I know is performed the day after delivery.

I'm sorry, I know this is kind of jumbled and hurried. I'm just nervous and wanted to have a better understanding of what was gonig to happen. Plus I don't like being away from my other 2 kids for too long. Thank you very much.

Hi, its my neice's12th birthday today adn I want to get her something special. She is quite eccentric for a 12 yr old I have to add. she loves anything that has to do with cats as well as magic or anything mystical(her words). Now, I have no clue as to what to get her! I was thinking of an old looking cat broach as she loves things that are old fashioned , anything with a mystery behind it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, much appreciated

My daughter was given special formula milk when she left hospital after she was born, I sorted out the cupboards and found two huge tins of this, in date and unopened. She is on normal cow's milk now so doesn't need it any more. I have asked the chemist and they won't take them back, it just seems wrong to throw them in the bin. I heard a long time ago about prescriptions being taken back by some chemists to send to 3rd world countries - does anyone know if this still exists?

I live in quite a rough area and was gob smacked by the behaviour of the kids in my street, they are horrid. their mums are too, effin and blindin at them all the time, they never get punished because that would mean they have to come in the house and get under their feet. Apparently they have ADHD surely aren't they just a product of their own upbringing, I dont think there is a straight forward test for this. One boy in question goes to bed with a can of coke and crisps and sweets, they go through litres of coke (their mum told me this) doesn't diet have a big thing in this.

Help please tell me is this normal or can you please give me some advice. My three year old just wont listen to anything we say to him. He seems like he just wantst do what he wants, and has no regard for us when we are telling him not to do things. When out he is constantly running off, he knows the word stop but yet still goes off and expects us to chase him. When we do he laughs but whn we get him he starts crying and moanin even thoug he knew full well it would happen. When he is good we do praise him all the time, but for some reason it seems he just wants us to keep telling him off. When we do tell him not to do certain things he gets agressive and chucks toys at us or will vent frustation by kicking his bike. Please help. Is this normal. I am worried he may have ADHD
