My daughter is 2 and i am not sure if she is old enough for a twin bed. we have one that has rails built into it. She is really tall so I dont think she will be fitting in the crib much longer. If i do decide on it how do i make the transition a little bit easier on her and us?

Hello! I've read countless blogs, info sites, and other users comments, but I wanted to ask for other people's opinions on what's happening to me. On days labelled 7 & 8 of my birth controlled cycle (which were really days 11 and 12 if you start counting from the first day of my last period) I had unprotected sex with my hubby...twice (what can I say, we're newly weds!). Following those days I took two pills for two days to make up for the pills I missed. My breasts were VERY sensitive and sore, I felt extremely nauseated, and had slight cramping in the abdomen. Browsed the internet like mad to see if that may mean pregnancy, but was not convinced. Yesterday I went to the bathroom and saw some light blood on the paper when I cleaned myself up. It's much lighter than my period bleeding is. Now it's one week before my period should start (I have one more pill to take and then I'm on my 7 days off the pill). Was that implant bleeding? So far none today...am I pregnant?

I don't have kids myself but would like to some day. I have often thought what name would be nice for a boy or girl. I have some that I think are great;

For boys;

David, Andrew, Thomas, Robert, Micheal

For girls;

Amanda,Lynda or Linda, Nicole,Bonnie, Tina, Nicasia, Marissa, Kista

The last 3 girls' names are not common but very very pretty. My sister's name is Airlie! Now that's very uncommon.

Any thoughts?

He is very repetitive, always asking for food but then not eating it. He doesn't want to ride his bike or play video games, but he will walk around and around the coffee table shaking a toy that makes noise or wallow on the floor or the sofa. What are somethings that will keep these kind of children entertained. I want to be able to spend time with him, but with him always asking questions and being underfoot I can't get things done to spend time with him and I am having trouble making him understand this.

We are preparing for the birth of our first child this summer and have been kicking around baby names. The problem is that our favorite boy name is the first name of my deceased father. Why is this a problem? I have an older brother who doesn't have any kids. I know he plans to eventually but he's not even married yet and who knows if he ever will. Anyway, I'm wondering if I should ask my brother if he wants to have my dad's name on his list for the future so that the child would be "the third" (it was grandpa's name too)....since it would carry on our family name? Or should I just use the name myself?

It is winter and too cold to play outside.
Sunday is family day and we try to do something new and fun everytime.
These are the things we usually do...swim (indoor pool), roller skating, movies, childrens museum, sledding, bowling, chucky cheese...
What else can we do that is fun and not very expensive...
For a five year old...

Hi everyone,
I'm about 13wks pregnant with twins!
I'm both very excited, as this is my first pregnancy (I say 1st, b/c I've had miscarriages before, but MUCH earlier on), and overwhelmed at the same time.
Have any of you given birth to multiples? How do you manage feedings without doing it all daynight long?
I will be having a C-section (b/c of back problems) and I'd like to breast-feed.
I know it's early yet, but I'd appreciate any advice you can give me. Thanks in advance! :)

My 13 month old daughter is the fussiest baby ever. She screams if I don't sit right on the floor next to her while she plays. She is my 4th child and the only one to carry on like this. I am at my wits end. I can't even go to the bathroom unless Daddy or one of the siblings is there with her. She just screams and fusses all of the time. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get her to play by herself. Other than the fussiness, she is pretty much average. She is still breastfed but eats normal food and drinks juice from a cup. She is starting to walk and only says a couple of words so she can't exactly tell me what is wrong with her. I play with her most of the day just to keep her from crying. I am starting to worry about my older children because I feel like I am hardly even parenting them because the 'baby' takes up sooooo much of my time. Dad tries to help but it is really a lot of stress on the whole family. Thanks in advance for your help!
