my 4 month old baby is suffering frm cradle cap for two month now, i've been using olive oil and dentinox shampoo and they seem to work but very slowly and i think two month is too long specially that it didn't clear up yet

dont worry. it will soon heal. my son took some months to heal. i always used baby oil, and wit a fine comb, i comb it out. I did that everytime i saw the cradle cap. i wash my sons hair everytime wit aveeno til it healed. hes now 7 months, and hasnt had that problem again.

My 5 month old had cradle cap, only wash the hair every other day, just wet it down when its not being washed. After you dry it, put some baby oil on it, then brush it with a soft bristle brush. Not a comb. If the baby oil doesn't work then try the Johnson baby lotion, I used that for my daugther as the baby oil wasn't doing anything. It worked and we have been cradle cap free for a month now. Good Luck

My daughter also suffered from cradle cap. So after some research i found that a little head and shoulders and a baby brush dose wonders.Start by using daily put a small about of head and shoulders and rub it in with a soft baby brush then leave it in for a minute or two rinse thoroughly being careful to avoid baby's eyes. Then when it starts to clear up use once a week. good luck!

ugh i hated cradle cap. maybe you should take him to a dermotologist. my babies' only lasted 1 or 2 months. i used johnson and johnson baby shampoo and scrubbed really good and then i took a comb to get all the flakes out.

I used baby oil after the bath, but dont scrub too much it makes their head sore.Just keep it moisturized. It will go away eventually.
