Pregnancy & Parenting - 4 February 2007

My 16 month old daughter is 30" and ~22lbs. Up until now, she's had normal eating patterns (for a toddler) and I haven't been concerned about her food intake at all. We feed her very healthy food, and she LOVES fruit. Lately, she goes into the kitchen and points to her highchair ALL the time! She will just eat and eat, so I started offering her kitchen utensils, bowls of water, etc. instead of food, because she was shoveling in so much, that I was afraid she'd get sick. Mostly she wants bananas, and points to them on top of the fridge (whether she can see them or not) as soon as she's seated in her chair. Even though I've been offering her "other"activities to do in her high chair, she wants to eat every 1/2 hour. (This has gone on for about a week now.) She eats very well during mealtimes, and always has a protein, fruit/veggie and starch at each meal. Has anyone else had this problem with their toddler?

I am 3 days away from my due date. I've been having contractions but they are not regular. but I have been feeling really down and sick this whole week. Just weak and my tummy is upset and I've been having bad head aches. Last week I was 3 centimeters. If I were to go to the hospital and be 4 does that mean they would just keep me and break my water or would they still send me home?

I have a 2 month old baby boy , my husband works away from home for 2 weeks at a time and is only home 1 week a month. I have been taking care of the baby full time , even when the husband is home. I feel like i am about to go nuts. I live in an isolated area without transportation , so i cant go anywhere. The baby just keeps crying , he''s not hungry , he's not in the sun , he's got toys , he's warm he's clean..he's not gassy he just seems to cry and cry and cry unless he is being held all the time. I cant get any rest at all I feel like i am going nuts here. I just dont want to hold him all the time. He is very heavy (15 llb) and i just get sick of holding him for hours on end when i have a lot of other things to do (please dont answer this question if you are on over opinionated non-parent who thinks you know everything about parenting) I need suggestions from other parents in my situation.

I wasn't planning on having sex, but it sort of just happened. My boyfriend had a condom with spermicide on, but how efficient is that? Thankfully, he didn't ejaculate while he was inside me. I'm just really freaked out of an unplanned pregnancy, so can anyone tell me what chance of pregnancy there is for me with a condom with spermicide and pulling out before ejaculating?

i went to my friends house to see her & was waiting in her room when her older sister came in & said that my friend was out & would be back in a few minutes do i mind if she waits with me i said no she asked me if i had ever practiced kissing with her sis i said yes we had she then told me that it was ok to practice with her too if i wanted then she kissed me a real kiss tounges & stuff
thing is i really liked it & kissed her back we kissed a long time & then we had to stop cos her bro was around but she told me that we should do it again soon I really really wanna

hello!
i'm doing a health report on rubella. ive been on a lot of websites and learned a lot but i got a lot of 'serious birth defects if mother gets rubella while pregnant' well what kind of defect? do they lost limbs? go blind? are lame?

My husband and I share dropping off and picking up our daughter at day-care (I drop off, he picks up).

35 weeks isnt that long...ok i know, in the "time frame" it is, but it really doesnt feel like it, i mean, im like going crazy here because i dont know, just thinking that i only have 5 weeks left, and like just a few months ago i was saying i was only 6 weeks pregnant, im really confussed with this whole thing, its like where did the time go? Ok, so my ex got on my AIM account and messed with my profile until it said some like, horribly mean things. i just made the account and am using meebo, because i can't download AIM on my computer.
