from what I know it's about 2oz per baby’s pound. My girl is 3.5 month 13pounds, and she eats 3oz every 4 hours. My friend has now a 5 month old who was 18pounds and ate 4oz every 2.5 hours when he was 4 month. Some babies are not big eaters. If you ped says that your baby is gaining enough and after a feeding the baby is not sucking his fists or rooting then they are full.

My son is 4 months old as well. He eats 5-6 ounces a feeding every 4 hours. I used to obsess about how much he should eat because he was born so small. I have learned that age is a bad indicator of how much a baby should eat. It really is based on the baby's size.

Thats the same question I have...the doctor told me that he eats till he is not hungry anymore. I have a 3 month old soon to be 4 months in 10 days and he eats 5 ounces every three hours...my friend has a 4 month old that eats 8 ounces so i guess it just depends...good luck!

I t all depend on the baby. My friend and I were pregnant together. Her son is 1 month older than my daughter and they eat totally different. He would eat 4-5 oz while she would only eat 3-4oz. then when we started baby food she would eat a whole jar and he would only eat a half. she would eat every 3-4 hrs he would eat every 3 1/2/ -5 hrs.
Really your baby will let you know when they are hungry and will stop eating when they are full. When they stop taking the bottle and pushing food away then take it away.

20-24 oz of formula a day. Every baby is different so if your baby is eating a little more or a little less than it's not a big deal.
