Ok, so my ex got on my AIM account and messed with my profile until it said some like, horribly mean things. i just made the account and am using meebo, because i can't download AIM on my computer. It turns out that about, 5 people have been going onto my account and saying mean things about other people. So what am i suppose to do?? I can't delete it and people still think its me. I made a new account and all, but i don't know what to do with the other one

What he has done is illegal and you can press charges. I would highly recommend you teach him a lesson.
Its a defamation of character along with other charges depending on what he has done. You just need to prove it, call him have him admit if over the phone. Call him and say why did you say such and such to so and so on my name..but don't let him know you are trying to catch him up. Make sure you record it and only you..Someone else can not record it for you.
Defamation is written or spoken injury to a person reputation. Libel is the written act of defamation, vs. slander, the oral act of defamation. He has also done this to other people from your name and you should contact any of those people who would take yourside. But not before you get him to admit it. Don't tell anyone because you dont want word getting back to him.
From what you have said you can already bring two charges up on him. You/Your parents should seek legal advice what he has done is very wrong.
As for the other account..just change the PW and forget about it and all other passwords he might have access to. If any passwords are the same change those too and never use that password again for anything. In the future do not use the auto signon function/save password function.
If you delete it he might be able to remake it. I'm not sure because I'm not familiar with aol/aim anymore.

why wouldn't you be able to delete it? All you have to do is change the password... then no one else can get in

REPORT IT, or go thru it and delete everybody on yur buddylist, so they cant hurt it any more, and u can tell yur school cuz that can be considered harrassment, sooo you have 2 choises, report it to AIM or you can tell yur school, or *BOTH*, you also need to CHANGE YUR PASSWORD!!!!

yea you deffinatly should change your password. and tell everyone that you will never go on it and dont go on it so they know its not you
