no. you can claim the child AFTER the child is born for the year the child was born in.

No. The child has to be born before it can be claimed on your taxes. The reason is that since the child hasn't been born yet, and still has a chance of not being born, you can't claim it. That's why all the accountants say to have your baby before Dec. 31.

When the child is born, you can apply for a birth certificate and a social security card. Then you can properly claim them on the taxes.

No. You can only claim a child if it is born. If it is born on Dec. 31st at 11:59 you can still claim it for that year.

Nope. Baby has to be born before the end of the year. But on your 07 returns you will be able to deduct the baby.

Sorry they have to be born before January 1st. If you try this you will lose the right ot get the credit for ten years so I wouldn't try it.

No, the baby isnt even out of the womb yet,the baby has to born and with a name and ss#,so theres no way..sorry.

no the child has to be born in they year to be clamed for that year anouther helpful hint no one knows is that even if the baby dies a few hours later aslong as it was declared alive at birth it is yours to clame for the year(1st baby died of sids at 6 weeks)sorry you cant cvlamethe baby this year but next year you can the baby has to be actually liveing outside its mother in the year your claming it
