I'm mainly asking about children bettween the ages of 10 and 13.

I only hate it when they have alot of people there or when they leave the door open.
I've never had to dress down completely naked, but I hate people staring at me naked at the doctors office.

I'm 13, but I've never had to get fully undressed at the doctor. For boy scouts you have to get a physical before every summercamp, and you have to pull your pants down so they can check for something.. It's embarrassing, but it's required. I don't know what I would say about fully undressing...

When I was 13 I had to go to the gynecologist for the first time, for a pap test and the whole deal. That experience was a living hell for me. I didn't create a problem because I knew if I did what I was told then it would end faster. But I hated every minute of it.

When i was that age i was very self-conscious about undressing for the doctor, even though the doctor was nice. my mom made me stay with that doctor and till this day i'm still fearful because if how embarressed i was when i was younger. i think what would have helped is if you go to a doctor that doesn't make your kid get fully undressed and who he/she feels comfortable with. don't say, "it's no big deal." It is a big deal at that age. its a sensitive time and you have to be empathetic.

Yes! Well this is about me. When I was in third grade, I had to have some sort of entire body check for some reason. My mom carted me to the doctor and the doc comes in and tells me to take off my clothes! I refused and screamed. Eventually, my mom had to take me home without the check. Unless you're having a baby, I hate taking off my clothes for a doctor and unless you have cancer or something, I don't think it's worth it. I think it's gross. But health is health.

I am thirteen, and I had to go to the dermatologist's office a couple months ago. I had to undress, and I was very uncomfortable. I didn't create a problem, but I was very embarrased.

oh my god I used to hate it at my old docter. I created a whole scene every time and I even refused some of the time. I hated it, absolutly hated it! At my docters now they dont make you do anything except answer questions and take your weight/height.

Yeah sure when your that age you don't even want your parents to see you naked, but I never created a scene because i figuered that if I didn't it would end faster.
