I usually pay my aupair £50 per week. she doesn't really have to do much because i was still looking for a job. so the only time she has to look after my daughter is when i go to interviews. i asked her to do the washing up before me and my husband went away for the weekend ( was in her job description). got back tonight and she hasn't done anything. was worse than when we went. I tried ringing her about 30 times, but she didn't answer the phone. and when i got back and asked her she said it didn't ring.
She is leaving soon because of a family emergency, which now means there's no point me going for interviews as i don't have childcare.
So she's not actually doing anything!
should i still pay her the £50?

I am healthy, my weight gain is minimal but within healthy standards, the baby is fine, I eat right, etc. I have tested fine for everything and other than awful back pain, I feel fine. Although, certain days, like today, I am exhausted. Is this normal? Is it because I am almost to the end of my 2nd trimester? I am not really showing much either...this is my first!! Thanks

My girl was born 7lbs. 3z she was eating 8 oz every 2 hours at 6weeks so at 8weeks we were advised by pedi to put a little rice in bottle because clearly she wasnt full from the formula. She was eating atotal of 96oz in 24 hours which was way to much. She is now 3 months old and weighs about 15lbs. she eats a 6oz bottle 6 times within a 24 hour period which is 36 ounces plus at night she gets three teaspoons of rice in the bottle and for breakfast she eats about 2 to 3 teaspoonsful of rice on a spoon plus her bottle. she is in size 2 diapers cause her legs are so fat but she just doesnt seem full she always wants more. we dont see the doctor till her four month next month. she is moving into the 6-9 month clothes. she was 19lbs at birth 22lbs at 2 month uncertain now.Is she too fat?

i have seem parents rent limos for 10 yr olds birthday parties, rent out places like chucky cheese, and even plan major parties. even i have paid for 25 kids to skate a day away in celebration of my childs birthday......... has this become the new norm? this year i am thinking of having a party for only family but somehow i feel like a trader, but hasnt this gone too far?

I have one week to find an inexpensive place that suites to 25 people for my daughters 1st birthday party. I did have a place picked out, but at last minute it was cancled, I have tried the YMCA, Holiday Inn and I dont know what to do??? Does anyone have ideas???? I could have it in the house, but it is much too small.

Just wondering if children who have two healthy, NON dysfunctional parents raising them are better then a single parent.
I totaly understant that some single parents are doing an awesome job...just would like to know if techinically the kid is better off being raised by two parents?

Okay, my friend is in her 40th week of pregnancy so she's due to give birth any day. She's been accusing her ex of being the father but the truth is she got pregnant AFTER they broke up because they didn't have sex for two weeks before they broke up. Week one of the "no sex" was her period and the 2nd week they were mad at each other & didn't do anything. She got pregnant the weekend after they broke up. However, she's been dogging this guy for the last 9 months. Now here's the craziest part... he said he wanted a paternity test & she agreed... her doctor told her the baby's been right on with the dates of her LMP which means there's virtually no chance her ex is the father!!!! What is she thinking? Oh yeah, she's even been telling her ex that there's not way it's not his because she wasn't with anyone else (but she was)... Is she just bluffing in hopes he'll eventually believe her or could she honestly think it's his even though she knows she wasn't with him when she ovulated??

my 7 yr old son spends half his time with my ex.when his over he spends alot of time ether on the computer or watching tv with his dad.tv is mostly nick or kid friendly shows but still on the weekend he can spend like 6 or more hours watching tv a day.how much tv a day do you allow your child?now for the video games these games are not educational games but games rated teen and involve monsters and fighting.do you think this is ok for a 7 yr old to play?yes i know its not my house and i don't make the rules when my son goes over to see his dad. i don't plan on saying anything to my ex as he is a good dad and loves his son.i'm just worrying that our son maybe to young for these games and be spending to much time watching tv.i have not said anything to my ex like i said i wanted just to see what eveyone thought of this 1st

I found out I was pregnant in Sept. but I ended up getting an abortion :( Of course all of that has been really sad.

My bf's ex-girlfriend just claimed that my bf got her pregnant (slightly before I came into the pic) and she had a daughter early Jan.

Well since I stopped bleeding from my abortion, late dec., ive been having the urge and want to get pregnant. I sit alot and think "what could have" if I were still pregnant and also the mere fact that my bf could have gotten someone else preg. and she has his child.

Please serious responses only, what am I go thru? is this a phase?

I am still on the patch but ive been counting when i should ovulate and have all thse crazy 'plan's in my head.

I am 23 btw.

I'm 37+ weeks and lost my mucus plug a couple of days ago. Yesterday more of it came out and my midwife said it's normal. The mucus plug was yellow and stringy. Today a clear stringy liquid came out after useing the restroom. A few minutes later more came out while I contracted. I don't want to call my midwife just yet, I figure it's probaly just more of the mucus plug. Could it be "show" though, or does the mucus have to be tinged with blood to be "show"? Thanks for the insight.

hiya reet the last few weeks i have been feeling realli sick and dizzy like im going 2 pass out but i havent actually passed out or been sick. also my boobs have grown a little bit n my belly is really hard no bigger but harder and i only came on for like a few hours but the confussing thing is i did a pregnancy test and it was negative please help me cheers x x x

My stepdad does this and it gets on my nerves! It also makes me feel impatient with him and his kids because they are very wild and noisy, especially at bedtime. It makes me think that
I might as well become his children's parents,
and I'm only a teen! I can't raise them. And I hate my stepdad so much. All he wants to do is watch TV and go to sleep. He almost never wants to spend time with his kids!

My daughter is nearly 3 and a half. She doesn't have any problems sleeping or anything, but I'm curious to know how much sleep other children her age are getting. She's normally had 12 hours a night, but can she get away with less now?

As I am sitting here I feel faint and just plain strange. My cervical mucas has increased a great deal and my cervix is high and semi firm and closed. I am on day 39 of my cycle (I had a long cycle last month, but that was the first time. ) So I truely don't know how long my cycle is. I took a test 20min ago and neg. but I just feel weird. Anyone have a similar situation. I am hopeful, but very disapointed right now. How long is too long for a cycle.
