macy's, dillard's, nordstrom's, JC penny's (sometimes they have nice clothes)... if you're graduating grade school, you really don't need a great dress. just go for a sleek My Michelle dress or something.

It really all depends on your budget and the dress code for it.
I know almost all of my grade got theirs at Lilly Pulitzer (inthepinkonline.com), with a few of the taller girls getting theirs from J Crew (jcrew.com). Delia*s is also nice, although some dresses may be a bit big on you (Delias.com). There are also department stores, where you can find a good dress in the kids or Juniors section. (Nordstroms.com, Dillards.com, LordandTaylor.com, NeimanMarcus.com) are all nice places. Limited Too will have dresses your size (limitedtoo.com). Maybe look around online first, to see what there is an the cost, but ultimately go out with your mom or someone and try the dresses on. The type I recommend is a summer-y dress, and a material like cotton. A halter or spagetti strap dress is good, and wear it with a cardigan and flats. Think a tea party dress- a party dress will be too much, but a jean dress or something might not be nice enough.
But have a good time. And if you provide more about your budget I can give you nice links to clothing.

My sister is in sixth grade and that i comprehend countless females who gown like that. i wager that is only the variety. it would want to also be somewhat. even as i develop into in sixth grade i needed to gown like that till I made a sparkling chum who wore extremely gorgeous clothing like puffy skirts, layered tanks, and her hair short and curly. i wager your associates can impact what you position on.
