I have one week to find an inexpensive place that suites to 25 people for my daughters 1st birthday party. I did have a place picked out, but at last minute it was cancled, I have tried the YMCA, Holiday Inn and I dont know what to do??? Does anyone have ideas???? I could have it in the house, but it is much too small.

"im*horny" This is Dan's wife. I would advise you to give me information on birthday parties and not asking my husband information on where he lives. *Tramp

Everyone in my family lives in a small house (under 1000sqft) and we always host family dinners, baby shower, birthday party... usually with around 25 people. Everyone will be fine.... the party probably won't last that long... a one year old has no idea what's going on, and that it's in his/her honour.

For a baby's first birthday, it would be more fitting to have it at home or maybe at a grandparent's home.
It should be in a familiar place because most 1 year olds don't like parties anyway.

Pick a child friendly restaurant, like McDonalds, or Chuckie Cheese, or try calling a small hall, even at a church. Good Luck and happy birthday to your little one.

Oh please why are you going to that expense and travel time, etc for a first birthday. Have it at your house, backyard, or see if a relative who has a larger house is willing to do it. Honestly 25 people for a 1st birthday/?///

Depending on where you live, you could do a really fun party at a local park!

hmm....try calling banquet facilities,,,or do you go to church some churchs have a place to rent.. or the fire hall....they usually rent their space......or ask a friend as say you will do the cleaning etc... and pay a small fee.... but dont worry about making it too big because really she wont remember. its more for the parents.

or a local park.... usually they allow you to rent the space.
