I'm 37+ weeks and lost my mucus plug a couple of days ago. Yesterday more of it came out and my midwife said it's normal. The mucus plug was yellow and stringy. Today a clear stringy liquid came out after useing the restroom. A few minutes later more came out while I contracted. I don't want to call my midwife just yet, I figure it's probaly just more of the mucus plug. Could it be "show" though, or does the mucus have to be tinged with blood to be "show"? Thanks for the insight.

My mucus plug took 4 days to completely come out.

It was like that for days and days, pieces falling out, stringy, etc.

It's normal.
Just bring it up at your next appt.

Never be afraid of calling your midwife with these questions. That's what she's there for. If you don't and stress about this, it will make things worse. Just ask and feel more at ease. She's the one with the experience to answer these questions.

What you are going through is normal, only call your midwife if it will help you not to worry so much. Relax now and enjoy your bundle of joy later

The amniotic fluid might be leaking out slowly. That usually means that the water has broken up high... I'd talk to your midwife.
