Oh no he should follow your rules when is there on the weekends as well just explain to dad you only want to play approiate aged games and not his adult games that is why they have the rating system. It is not a hard request to ask his father to not let his seven year old play violent games. I mean ther are kid games that are violent but they are fake unlike the older people games that are using life like people. Goodluck! also I never let my kids play during the week unless they are good at home and at school and then it is only 30 min on school days weekends i time them at 30 min intervials so they can take turns but I do not make a time only rule I let them have fun as long as they follow the general rules{my boyfriends kids come over on the weekends and when their mother brought this up to him he knew it wasn't a crazy request either because he is a good dad as well}

When I was about 9 I was addicted to the tv. Instead of doing homework, I would watch tv. My parents set rules that me and my siblings were only allowed to watch 2 hours of tv during the week, and only after our homework was done. On the weekend, I think it went up to 3 hours a day. I think this really helped me to not watch as much tv, and focus on school more.

two parents different rules, that is normal. I let my ex know the rules and hope they respect and follow them. My kids stay on the computer or watch tv most of the day. I look at as I would rather them be in their rooms playing games rather no know exactly what they are doing and I know they are not having run inns with the law

What might desire to be powerful is that in case you get carry of you baby attracted to an exterior interest or some board video games that he might desire to take over to his fathers without you saying something. 6 hours of television time is slightly a lot, too undesirable his father would not think of so. you may say something, yet in a great way. Or propose to him places to take your son, like the mall, rollerskating, Barnes and Noble or to a cousins homestead for the day. stable success.

appropriate for a 7 year old... hmm? I don't know. His grades shouldn't be suffering... and unless he's a fattie, let him watch as much TV as he wants, as long as he does other things too. (i.e.- homework, reading, playing outside) every once in a while. (PS- i do think that it is okay for him to play monster fighting video games. As long as he knows they arent real)
