Guess what I'm doing for VDay? I'm playing an orchestra concert. I'm making a lot of sacrifices to perform, and despite the bad choice of evening, that kind of thing would be beneficial to you.
Go out with some of your single friends, go to a nice dinner with your dad, volunteer at an animal shelter, or go see a good movie (Music and Lyrics would work!). Just do something that doesn't require a boyfriend so you can have fun---and avoid obsessing.
Good luck!

First I want to tell you that you should not be discouraged because you may not have someone in your life this time of year. I am 31 years old; and I spent several Valentines without someone. Ask yourself this question would you be with someone that is horrible to you just because you do not want to be alone...of course not! Don't settle for anything less then what you deserve. I am sure that there is one of your friends that are probley single as well..have lunch together and rent or go see a movie..you will see that you can have fun even on Valentine's Day.

You need to realize that you don't need a boyfriend just because Hallmark and Hersey's says you do. That's all that Valentine's Day is, a holiday made by those Corps. trying to make money. Sure, once you have a boyfriend, celebrating will be great, but its just another day.
Have a girls night with all of your single friends. Watch movies, gossip, do facials and Mani/Pedis....make it fun to be single. It will help you forget about guys for the night, unless of course you gossip about them.

Hey, Enjoy it!
Have a girls night, spa night, rent a movie with your friends, do something really fun.
Have a "secret valentine" with your friends and send/give each other gifts.
Dont worry about not having a boyfriend! Have some great fun with your friends now.

Don't base your happiness on having a boyfriend. Having good friends is all that's really needed. Give a card to someone you like. Relax your only 16, you have your whole life ahead of you.

can't you be your own person without a boyfriend (fix yourself if you are a "little troubled") - I didn't have any boyfriend until I was 16 - I married him 5 years later
It will come - be patient - I know it's hard
Also, you sound too desperate - that might turn nice guys off
