MY 22 month old son wakes up a few times a night either fussing or crying. What could be wrong with him? Is this normal?

22 year olds are notoriously light sleepers. Suckle him at your bosom while softly singing and he will head back down to the basement soon enough.

i think of this is a stable concept. getting lower back from trip whilst my toddler became into 6 months we went on a 4 hour airplane trip with a 4 hour automobile trip at present after and he slept extraordinarily much the full way simply by fact it in basic terms befell to be in the direction of the night that we've been vacationing. He wakened in a stable temper approximately an hour and a a million/2 in the previous we've been given homestead and became into in basic terms slightly dissatisfied for the final half-hour so my husband sat in the lower back with him to purpose and shop him prepared on some toys. My son has a comforter teddy that facilitates it to sleep so if Ari has something like that make certain you do no longer forget it! We forgot ours on a thank you to the airport so had to provide up and get one on the way! stable success x

I have a 22 month old myself. She does the same. I go in and I do not pick her up and she lays down and all I do is rub her back until she falls asleep again. Sometimes ity's long, other times a second. Which leads me to think that she just wants to know that I am there and that she isn't alone. I think it will pass. I just want her to learn to sleep on her own. this could be happening to you. It is either...teeth, nightmares or separation anxiety. Welcome to the club. Good luck..

Quite normal. Some children experience bad dreams at this age, but it is most likely that he is growing and is having some pain that is waking him up. He may not be able to verbalize that he is uncomfortable. Anyway, he will get back to normal soon enough. Just reassure him, maybe some Tylenol, and he will go back to sleep.

Perfectly normal behaviour - the terrible twos are about to start. He could also be having a nightmare/bad dream. Also check the obvious like diaper or too hot/cold. Otherwise take him to the doc for a check up.
