They would probably keep you and moniter you for awhile and if you are not progressing they would send you home.

im in the exact same boat that you're in. I am 4 days away from my due date and Iam currently 3 centimeters. I have contractions all the time some are regular for abouta half an hour then they go away. :( But some contractions make me feel sick too. like i get light headed and feel faintish. being 4 centimeters I could see them sending you home just because you're not in true labor ( regular contractions) but we just need to hang in there. good luck during labor!

When I was in labor they said that once you get to 4 centimeters they will keep you because that is going into the active phase of labor. If you are already at 3 centimeters I would think you would be having your baby really soon. All you have to do is walk around a lot. Make sure your bags are packed first =) It may come quick.

I wish someone would answer that question for me. I'm 5 days away from my due date, I've been having contractions for about 3 weeks, and I'm 3 cm dilated. I've been to the hospital twice and they've sent me home because my labor wasn't progressing. I've been feeling the same way that you have though -- I haven't had morning sickness since about 10 weeks, but its come back with a vengeance the past few days, and I feel so tired like I just don't want to do anything. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and I'm hoping they'll send me to the hospital ... I'm so ready for labor!
So, I really don't know the answer to your question but just wanted you to know there is someone out there who sympathizes with you. I wish you and your little one the best of luck.

I had a similar situation when I had my daughter. I was two when I saw my doctor. Then when my contractions started and less than ten minutes apart, I still hadn't progressed in four days. They let me labor in the hospital for about four hours before getting ready to discharge me. Luckily my water broke before the nurse came back with discharge papers. Walking helps immensely. It's supposed to progress labor but the reveiws are mixed on that. Walking helps because it takes your mind off the pain and being miserable.

they would probably send you home if your water has still not broken or your contractions are not very close together.
sounds like your having Braxton-Hicks contractions....which can make you feel like crap, or be nothing much at all.
every pregnancy is different so every one feels these cramps differently.
it doesn't sound like your close yet. but if your pain increases and the contractions are closer, OR your water breaks...i would say call your doc, and head to the hospital.
hang in there hon, your almost there.

How's your water retention and vision? And how was your blood pressure at your last check-up?
If you've noticed that you're puffier than usual, or have been having some blurriness of vision, I would go to the hospital and get your blood pressure looked at, esp if it was high at ur last pre-natal.
As far as labour goes: have you lost your mucous plug yet? If so, then you're likely on the way.

Sorry to burst your bubble, yet you will possibly be at 4 cm dilated and seventy 5 p.c. effaced and not furnish for weeks. or you're able to be a million cm dilated and 25 p.c. effaced and furnish that night. each female's physique is distinctive and dilation and effacement are somewhat not precise alerts of ways long you have till you furnish. you additionally can lose your mucus plug thoroughly and nonetheless not flow into exertions for weeks. what's encouraging is that your infant is at -a million station. i opt to advise which you flow on a pair of walks an afternoon to assist that infant settle decrease into your pelvis. as quickly as you're at 0 station you're extra probable to flow into exertions. Or... only relax and luxuriate in those previous few weeks and make amends for the sleep you heavily isn't getting as quickly as your infant arrives! My reports: for my oldest, i grew to become into at 4 cm dilated, seventy 5 effaced for 3 weeks. All my different sons had a good distance distinctive start reports, customarily simply by medical themes.

Start walking!!
I know you're sick, but walking helps the baby get into position.
Also, when you do start getting contractions again, take a HOT shower. Aim the water at your chest and lower back.
My doctor would swear by it. He said it kick started labor.
