I'm 38 weeks and 5 days. I have been having contractions since friday they have been have been like 10 minutes apart. Yesterday i kept having this funny pain like she kept moving her head lower and lower and this morning my belly looks like i'm only 5 months pregnant. and i was having cramps all day along with loose bm's . and today my contractions are 5 minutes apart. they aren't extremely painful just a bit uncomfortable expecially if i try to walk. I'm not sure what to do my husband is working about and hour away, i'm not sure if i should go to the hospitol or not.

Diarrhea is a sign of labor...
Every one has a different pain level...I would wait until you have a contraction that you can't hardly stand. Don't wait too long but you don't want to go so early youre stuck in a hospital and not allowed to eat.
I would do some walking and some short squating to get the contractions coming more.
I think you will have to go to the hospital in a few hours.

This varies from person to person. It does so in every aspect. Once the baby starts coming, it can take a very long time OR happen very very quickly. Call your doctor now. Depending upon the result, you might want to call your husband. In fact, you might want to call him and tell him to be ready for another call. He won't want to start something he cannot drop and leave when you do call.

It can't hurt to go and get checked out. If you are going through some contractions you always have to be concerned for the baby's heart rate. In my personal opinion i would go and get checked out. Good luck!

You need to put in a call to your doctor and to your husband. At the VERY least you need to go in and get checked.

Call your doctor and find out if they want you up there or not! I would go and before you leave call your husband at work and tell him it's time! It's sounds to me that you ARE IN EARLY STAGES OF LABOR!! GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATS!!!!!
