if you are pregnant you still get cramps, at times through out the whole time.... you also could what you think is your period... some women spot bleed when the egg implants, around or even a little after your period is due....
if there is any chance you think you might be? take a test....
extremem cramping if you are pregnant could be, what is that one called now, tubal prenancy? egg implanting in the wrong place.... like outside uterus, in tubes... etc. if that is the case, only a dr can find out or help out....
good luck

Yes, and no.
If you do not think you are pregnant then you probably are not.
Cramping can still take place even if you do not have a bleed. This is because the body has a routine it follows and these processes are very ingrained.
Not having a period, or being several weeks late is rarely cause for serious concern but only YOU can know how serious you ought to treat it.
I would have been pregnant because I still get my periods every fourth Saturday at 5pm and have done since my teens. Other people go five weeks, four weeks and 3.5 and are "normal".
Stress or a big shock around Christmas could have affected this period. Without warranty- I have found that many people I know find that the January period is the most unreliable as they do different things around the Christmas period and are faced with considerable stresses. Reasons to not have a period, basically!
Having cramps WHILE pregnant and even bleeding are also "normal" to some. My stepmother bleed for four months after getting pregnant with my kid brother. For her that was normal. OK- so it never was a "proper" period but there you are! She had problems believing she was as pregnant as she was! Cramping/bleeding while pregnant is scary and can be indicative of problems so best to check with the doc.
By the way- worrying about not getting your period, I feel, can be responsible for you not getting it.
As the other poster pointed out- best and quickest way is to do one of those at home pregnancy tests. Cheapish and quite reliable. And once you know one way or the other you will be relieved!

I would wait a few more days ,and if you still have no period then do a pregnancy test .When i was pregnant i still felt like i was about to come on my period as i had cramps until i was about 3 months .Not sure if it was in my mine as i could not believe i was pregnant .If you are pregnant then mild cramps are normal ,but if they become pain full or you start to spot bleed then seek medical attention ASAP .Hope that helps

yes you can have cramps even if you don't have your period...and you may be pregnant ...when i got pregnant the first month i was waiting for my period to come, i had crams, tiredness just like always before period and next thing you know i am pregnant...and also when i had my first visit with the doctor she said same thing... the first month before you got period or after few days when you think you're period is missing you are gonna have crams but it will pass after few weeks...
