because they don't have the same insides as a woman does. plain and simple. girls are moms and boys are dads, and each job is EQUALLY as important!

I had this conversation with both my son and daughter. I would tell them that boys have winkies and girls have hoo hoos. You can use what ever words you like. A lot of people will recommend that you just say penis and vagina, but if you have ever had your three year old go up to a man and say "You have a penis!" You might re-think this as I have. So, whatever words you use just make sure you are comfortable with hearing them in public, because you will! OK, now, after I explain that boys and girls are different I say that it is not just on the outside that boys and girls are different. They look different on the inside too. Girls have space called a womb (again if you are more comfortable with the real name, uterus, use that) where they grow the babies and boys do not have that place and that is why girls when they grow up can grow the babies inside them. I chose to tell my kids that after they get married they can ask God to send them a baby and then God will help the daddy put a seed in the mommy and then they will have a baby. You need to decide what you want to say and then just make it matter of fact and he will understand.

Just explain to him that men do not have the parts needed to conceive and carry a baby. Tell him what those parts are. IE: ovary's and uterus. You can also go on line and look it up and show him. This is what we did when I had my tubes tied. My son did not understand why I had to have an operation if i was not sick. We told him I was going to get my baby maker shut off. I can't remember the exact site we found but it showed every thing including a bay growing in the womb. He now knows exactly where baby's come from. The moms part and the dads.We just skipped over the sex part as A: he was five and did not really care about that and B: he he was five and did not need to know about that part in graphic detail. Your son may not understand all of what you are showing or telling him but he will get the most of it.

He is a bit young to understand the entire concept of of childbearing, you can explain in simple terms that women are able to give birth and men are not. If you believe in God or a higher power, you can tell him that God/ higher power makes this happen.
You can also look for simple, age appropriate books at your local library or bookstore that will explain everything in the simplest way possible.
(In reality, this could never happen because most men have a difficult time dealing with having the average cold without whining and turning into two year olds, so childbirth would be completely out of the question.......sorry....I couldn't resist. That is the true test of a serious relationship, living through colds and flu with each other.)
Have a good day.

Tell him that men don't have the right anatomy and that only women do. Better he learns what the differences are from you than from someone else or a magazine.

Just tell him that's how God made us..God made us for girls to be mommies and carry the babies and for boys to be daddies. when he gets older he'll understand that there is no place in a boy's body for a baby to come out.

just tell women bodies were created to do one thing and men body were created to do another. then tell him that men bodies were not created to have babies. compare the arms and the legs, arms were made to do one thing and legs another. each play a part in getting things done. same with man and woman.
