The name is unique however, I understand what your wife is saying. He might have a hard time in school or in general. The name would probably be better for a girl, But if you like it go for it

I agree with your wife, and the first answer. do you plan to pronounce it like the name Caleb? because, just looking at it, i would pronounce it Kale-eeb. that's just confusing.

yes,because people will make fun of your son when he grows, so change the spelling or choose a similiar name for him. I know when i went to school, there was kid in my class named CALEB.that is one way to spell it if you like.
