My wife hates the spelling of this telling me that he will be tormented by the rest of his life with people mis pronouncing it ( Kalib) the e is silent what do you all think?

I love this name. It is very original and unique in spelling. It will give him his independence and individuality.

The name is unique however, I understand what your wife is saying. He might have a hard time in school or in general. The name would probably be better for a girl, But if you like it go for it

just name him george or cristopher...or debbie...nah, just kidding. kalib is aight...and y are u makin this such a big deal?...just name him kalib, doesnt matter if its kalibe or kalib, as long as the baby has a name!

I agree with your wife, and the first answer. do you plan to pronounce it like the name Caleb? because, just looking at it, i would pronounce it Kale-eeb. that's just confusing.

yes,because people will make fun of your son when he grows, so change the spelling or choose a similiar name for him. I know when i went to school, there was kid in my class named CALEB.that is one way to spell it if you like.
