6 weeks ago I had my astrological chart read by someone who is much more into that sort of thing than I am. He told me that my Mother had a secret that I needed to know.

My Mother shrugged it off saying that everyone has secrets. However under a bit of pressure, she told me that I am a miracle. She has a heart shaped womb and so should not have been able to sustain a pregnancy.

But that wasn't the surprise. Turns out that my Father couldn't have children either and I was an artificial insemination baby. The donor, my mum found out later was the gynecologist, who committed suicide when I was 1 and a half. Up until this point I was an only child, but my mum tells me that this gynecologist treated hundreds of women.....

I dont know if I chose to be born, however, I did know the exact moment when I got pregnant with my second child.

There is a lovely Tibetan childrens story about a woodcutter who dies and has to choose where, when and who he will come back as, if at all. He chooses the same valley, the same parents but this time decides to be a girl instead. Similarly, Richard Bandler wrote a childrens story called "The Adventures of Anybody". Same idea.

I believe that we will become everyone at some point in time and in fact everything that exists, but I could be wrong!

This is a weird question. I don't know that anyone asks to be born. My daughter did tell me when she was 2 years old that she was glad that she picked me as a mom so who knows?

No one "asks" to be born, but if I could have chosen my parents, I think I would have chosen the ones I got. They made mistakes along the way, but as they aren't God, I figure that's acceptable. They never beat me or abused me mentally or anything, just loved me to the best of their abilities, so I guess they did a good job.

Yes very much.. I wanted to be born...this little spermy fought very hard to get to that one little egg. A very long and dark swim and I beat millions of other little spermies and won the race. So does that count?

Although I was present, I don't remember making the request.
My mom has told me she knew when it was time for me to be born, so I was probably giving her a few hints.
