Pregnancy & Parenting - 4 February 2007

I am about 5 days late on a 28 day cycle. I have mild cramping off and on. No period whatsoever and I am having a whitish/clear discharge more so than usual. I took a pregnancy test at 4 days late and it was negative. I have taken others prior to that and they were negative. If I am pregnant it would be about 4 weeks. I know that the best determination is to get a blood test and I'm wondering how much longer I should wait? My husband and I are trying so hard to be paitent! If anyone has any advice/ similar stories please share! Thanks & God Bless!

What do you find is the most annoying thing in pregnancy. I know pregnancy is a beautiful thing, but honestly, what is so beautiful about peeing every 15 mins? lol.

i missed my pill tuesday, so i took the one i missed and my normal one on wed, on wed i had sex. then i missed a pill on saturday, and i took the saturday on sunday morning and my sunday one at normal time, and had unprotected sex on saturday, after the time i should have taken the pill but did not, am i ok? should i take plan b asap???!?!?

My stepmom is pregnant and she is due in July. She likes the name "Kholie" with a long e. Nobody really has that name. I came to my biological mom about the name "Kholie" and the name "Makenzie"(because that's what i like). My mom doesn't like the name "Kholie" because she says it doesn't have a meaning. What's better??? "Kholie"or "Makenzie".

what is the best neutrul colours 2 get like for baby clothes and wool my mum and sister loive knitting and made a few white/cream coloured stuff but what other colours would u choose
also a think this baby might be colour because the dad(my fiancee) is dark and i am white and i am just wondering if the colours would still be the same am only 12weeks pregnant just now but my sister and mum are going at a fast past of this knitting they have made 2blankets , a shawl and my mum has made 2 cardigains and also my gran is joining in also but as i was saying what colours should i stick with other than just white and cream ?

Its amazing how these last 30wks have progressed. I swear it felt like it took YEARS to get to the 3 month mark! I was waiting and waiting and waiting and time passed sooo slow. Time moved as normal between 13-20wks. From weeks 20-30 it has been fairly quick. And yet i still feel like i have been pregnant FOREVER. And theres still 10wks to go!

I look back sometimes and think "WOW! I'm already 30wks!"
Other days i look at it and think "i can't believe i still have another! 10wks to go! Will this ever end"
And then in that same breath i think - "what am i going to do with a baby in ten weeks?" and it scares me!

Ten weeks? Sometimes it seems so far off - ten weeks more of pregnancy ailments... other times it seems far too soon.... ten weeks until i'm a mum???!!!

Is your pregnancy going fast or slow? Or, is it like mine, where its fast AND slow?! lol

i go see the OBGYN nurse on wed. apparently i dont get the workup from the doc until feb 20. the nurse i guess has to confirm my pregnancy and get my stats before i see the doc?

anyone know the procedure?
can she tell me how many weeks i am?
should i save the important questions for the actual doc?
is she just gonna take my pee and my blood and send me packin?

they said i had to be 8 weeks before i could get an obgyn appt and now it is finally here and i am anxious to know what i need to know, im frustrated i have to spend a whole appt with the nurse, will i leave with none of my ?'s answered.

My last period was on dec 31, it went away on Jan 6 Now it's feb 4 usually my period comes every 25-28 days so 2day it would b the 29 day if i doesnt come on tuesday then i think i might b and i been really tired lately but yesterday i took a test and it said negative. I am considering being a surrogate after 2 healthy, relatively easy pregnancies. We weren't supposed to be able to have children but were blessed, so it'd be nice to give to someone who cannot.
I know in Canada it is illegal to profit from being a surrogate, aside from out-of-pocket expenses. Can a Canadian be a surrogate for Americans?

My 9 year old son has been staying with my uncle for 2 weeks on holiday, my uncle has a 13 year old son, who has in the last year decided he wants to be a gangsta wannaB. Now I KNOW my son can be naughty and bad, i admit it. But since he has been home he has bullied younger children, stolen smokes, smoked ciggy's ( i smelt it on him) and lied about almost everything. Before he left he hated ciggys i gave up 6 months ago after he asked me to. He has never stolen before, he works for everything he wants pocket money wise. And he has always been good with younger and smaller children, looking after them, being really gentle. he has come home with a total mind make over Help How Do i Get my Son Back? My 13 Year old cousin now calls my 9 year old his prospector gang wannab.

Ok, My daughter sleeps in her own room and started sleeping through the night about 2 months ago but for the last week she is waking up at around 2 and screaming her head off for about 10-15 min. then she will fall back to sleep. How do I make her go back to sleeping all the way through the night? I do not get up with her or anything like that
