what is the soonest i can have an infant have there eyes checked for glasses?

hi our baby only looks at us if we are a good distance from her we thinking she may have something wrong with h er eyes

How old is she? Infants don't focus well up close at very young ages. My daughter was a little past a year old when I had her eyes tested, I noticed one was a floater after she had the measeles.
