Well i am 30wks pregnant and i don't know the sex of my baby because baby crosses its legs in ultrasounds! lol. So we have been unable to do the colour-according-to-gender either! lol.

I have all colours - except pink (because you can't dress a boy in pink ... but keep in mind you can dress a girl in different shades of blue). I also don't have green (personal preference .... i don't like green) and we do not have peach (my baby's father is dark too - again its personal preference but if my baby is dark i don't think baby will suit peach). But we have red and white and sky blue and black and orange and cream and yellow etc etc.

Whatever you feel comfortable with you should suggest!

Best of luck and congrats.

Don't do yellow. if you look up "yellow symbolism" or something like that, you'll find several websites that say that babies tend to be more restless in yellow rooms. something about how humans can't register the color yellow as easily as the rest of the colors, and therefore hurts the eyes more. light blue, i've heard, is the best color because it promotes peace and better sleep.

I got everything unisex.........white, cream, yellow, even green. I was all set.........
until I had a girl and wanted pink pink pink.......the yellow, white and cream were quickly forgotten......
I would have them only make the bare minimum that you need....after the baby comes you can get the boy or girl colors that you will crave.

Go for green and yellow.

Or toss in a bright red! Why not?

Maybe a multi-color afghan.
