when I was 34 weeks pregnant, we had sex, and when I went to the restroom right after, there were little drops of blood. Is this normal? Does this mean no more sex till after birth?

Anytime you bleed while your pregnant it is always best to call your doctor and let them know what is going on. But if it was only a few drops and you are not having no cramping or discomfort, then most likely it is from the baby thinning your cervix. But like I said call and report it to your doctor because I dont know whats been going on in your pregnancy, if it has been healthy or what not, so give them a call and see what they say, and definitely do not have sex until you do so. Good Luck and Congrats!

You should call your OB and tell them about the blood. Let them know what you were doing before you started the bleeding. They may send you to Labor and Delivery to make sure that everything is alright. The only ones that can really tell you if you can still have sex or not are your doctors. They have to make sure that there isn't anything going on first and decide if it's still safe.

It's very normal to bleed after sex during pregnancy. It doesn't mean that you have to stop as long as it doesn't scare you too much. I know that I was always worried when I bled when pregnant, even when I knew the cause.

No, your cervix is thinning in preparation for child birth. If you bleed a lot, like a period or have any cramps go straight to the hospital.

I meant was it from your vagina or anus? If it was from your anus it was once prob haemorrhoids (piles) ive had the yellow glob and a little of blood and no ache additionally a couple of months ago however used to be nothing. It its out of your vagina i'd ring the dr, put a pad on so that they can see what it used to be that came out, maybe muscous plug, not fairly definite

If it is just spotting.... it is possible that the bloody show was your mucus plug.

Now I know that after your water breaks you are not allowed any sex. But I would suggest asking your doctor just to be show it was your plug. Your baby could be coming soon!!

Congrats

No, I don't think this is normal. And, you will be able to have more sex while you are pregnant. I suggest that you go to see
your doctor as soon as possible and tell him/or her what happened.

You need to call your OBYN and tell her everything and go by what the doctor says.
